The Liaoning Provincial Local Standard "Quality Requirements for Shoe Modification, Decoration, and Care" is about to be implemented

On October 23, the Liaoning Provincial Local Standard "Quality Requirements for Boot and Shoe Modification, Decoration, and Care," undertaken by the Dalian Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association and jointly drafted by Zhejiang Fenniqi Industry and Trade Co., Ltd., Dalian Cupid Laundry Technology Co., Ltd., and Dalian Stark Leather Care Center, was successfully approved at the expert review meeting organized by the Liaoning Provincial Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau and the Dalian Municipal Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, and will soon be implemented province-wide. 
Zhao Aidong, Deputy Director of the Standardization Division of the Dalian Municipal Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, Guo Jing, Tang Chao, Director of the Standard Research Department of the Dalian Standardization Information Center, as well as Xu Yanmei, the leader of this expert review group, and members Xing Zhenxin, Cui Xiudong, and Yang Zhijun formed the expert panel to conduct an on-site review of the standard. The standard text was read aloud by the drafter Zheng Zhaoming. 
Currently, the situation of boot and shoe modification, decoration, and care in Liaoning Province is quite chaotic and disorderly, with no corresponding regulations or standards to restrict it. This often causes conflicts between consumers and shoe repairers, significantly impacting the industry. As a result, consumers lack confidence in the service quality of this industry. If this situation is not resolved promptly, it will affect the development of the entire industry. Boot and shoe modification, decoration, and care are industries closely related to people's daily lives. The introduction of standards aims to improve and enhance shoe repair quality and boot and shoe service quality, regulate market behavior, and thereby promote the rapid development of the entire industry, achieving industry self-discipline and healthy continued progress. 
During the drafting process, the standard drafters Zheng Zhaoming, Bao Licong, Wang Jidong, Yu Geli, Zhang Jun, Yu Fuyou, and Zheng Duanyang conducted research on the current situation of the leather care industry across the province, especially focusing on the market status of boot and shoe modification, decoration, and care; they referenced existing three-guarantee regulations and other related standards, and combined with the local industry situation in our city, drafted this standard. 
The review experts unanimously agreed that the standard was very well formulated, particularly fitting the economic and social realities of Liaoning Province. It standardizes an industry closely related to people's lives but often overlooked and not in the social spotlight. The standard is very scientific, advanced, rigorous, practical, and highly operable. After the standard is released and implemented, it will help improve industry service quality and boot and shoe modification quality, regulate industry service behavior, and promote industry development. Finally, everyone unanimously agreed to approve this standard. It has now been submitted to the Liaoning Provincial Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau for approval and public announcement. After the announcement, this standard will be officially released and implemented throughout the province. This review meeting was a complete success with the joint efforts of the attending experts and concluded with warm applause.
