Site News On January 11, 2011, the kick-off meeting for the compilation of the "National Vocational Qualification Training Tutorial for Leather Care Workers," organized by the China Commercial Federation's Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, was held in Beijing.
The National Vocational Qualification Training Tutorial (hereinafter referred to as the "Tutorial") is a specialized course book compiled to promote the national vocational qualification certificate system among practitioners and to advance vocational training. The compilation of the "Tutorial" strictly follows the requirements of the national occupational standards and provides a direct basis for the development of the national vocational skill assessment question bank. The compilation of the "Tutorial" is an important part of the national vocational skills education work. Practitioners gradually meet the knowledge and skill requirements of the corresponding occupations and levels in the national occupational standards through training, practice, and study of the "Tutorial," enabling them to be competent for the respective job positions; at the same time, according to the requirements of the "National Occupational Standards," by learning the knowledge and skills in the "Tutorial," they can pass the corresponding national vocational skill assessment exams and obtain the national vocational qualification certificate.
The "National Vocational Qualification Training Tutorial for Leather Care Workers" is compiled based on the "National Vocational Skill Standards for Leather Care Workers" and is the only nationally recognized vocational training textbook published to assess the professional skills of leather care workers and promote the national vocational qualification certificate system. The compilation of the tutorial is the foundation for future vocational skill assessments for leather care workers and an important basis for guiding and advancing the training and education of personnel in the leather care industry.
This meeting invited editors from the Human Resources and Social Security Publishing House responsible for the publication of this textbook, who provided detailed explanations regarding the purpose, principles, and content of the textbook compilation. During the meeting, the compilation team members further clarified tasks and division of labor, discussed some specific content, unified their thoughts, and all expressed their determination to complete the textbook compilation work with high quality according to the requirements.
