The 2014 China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Awards Ceremony Was Grandly Held

On the afternoon of September 20th, the "2014 China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Awards Ceremony" was grandly held in Shanghai. Zhang Zhigang, President of the China General Chamber of Commerce; Zhang Tao, Director of the Industry Association Office of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission; Peter Wennekes, CEO of the International Textile Care Council; Wang Shuyuan, Director of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee; Pan Wei, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General; Wang Houzeng, Executive Deputy Director; Shu Qi; Wen Lisheng, Director of the Laundry and Dyeing Industry Expert Committee; Cai Hongsheng, Executive Vice President of the Shanghai Commercial Association; Liu Rongming, Vice President and Secretary-General; part-time Deputy Directors of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee; leaders of local laundry and dyeing associations; representatives of well-known enterprises; and over 500 outstanding brand representatives and industry elites selected from the China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Excellence Promotion event attended the awards ceremony.

The awards ceremony was held in the banquet hall of the Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center. The venue was magnificently decorated and dazzling. Upon entering the hall, the first thing that caught the eye was a huge sign-in wall displaying the logos of the award-winning units and photos of the winners, with each participant leaving their solemn signature; a large LED screen in the center of the stage played videos of the event and live footage. On the backboards on both sides of the LED screen were inscriptions reading "Warm congratulations on the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the China General Chamber of Commerce Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee" and "Warm congratulations on the grand holding of the 2014 China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Awards Ceremony"; the high walls on both sides of the hall were covered with congratulatory banners from sponsors. At exactly 17:00, the ceremony began with a powerful countdown. Zhang Zhigang, President of the China General Chamber of Commerce; Zhang Tao, Director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission; and Peter Wennekes, CEO of the International Textile Care Council, each delivered speeches. Applause inside and outside the venue was continuous and intense, creating an exceptionally warm atmosphere. With the joint efforts of all Chinese and foreign participants, the ceremony reached its first climax. At the awards ceremony, six categories totaling 151 brand or individual awards were presented: "Famous Brands in China's Laundry and Dyeing Industry," "Outstanding Managers in the National Laundry and Dyeing Industry," "Innovative Figures in the National Laundry and Dyeing Industry," "Trusted Products in the National Laundry and Dyeing Industry," "Outstanding Contributors in the National Laundry and Dyeing Industry," and "Meritorious Figures in the National Laundry and Dyeing Industry," to commend the awarded units and individuals for their hard work and fruitful achievements in the past two years in China's laundry and dyeing industry.

The China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Awards Ceremony is a biennial event showcasing outstanding brands and industry elites selected from the China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Excellence Promotion activities. It aims to promote industry brand and cultural construction, enhance industry cohesion, and improve the social recognition of excellent enterprises and advanced individuals. From the very beginning of its preparation, the 2014 China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Awards Ceremony attracted great attention and anticipation from both domestic and international laundry and dyeing industries. The grand scale and the most authoritative and influential announcements of this ceremony have drawn widespread attention from the domestic and international laundry and dyeing industries and the general public.

The "China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Awards Ceremony" event not only demonstrates the active role of industry associations in promoting industry development but also scientifically plans the development and construction of the entire industry. It aims to unite industry forces to expand the laundry and dyeing market and serve the people's livelihood.
