On June 17, the second re-election conference of the Changchun Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association was held at Jilin Province Hotel, attended by nearly one hundred representatives from the laundry and dyeing industry in the Changchun area. The meeting conducted the re-election, with Chen Changzeng, President of Changchun Gewang Laundry Group, elected as the new president, and Ren Junjie elected as the secretary-general. The meeting discussed and approved the work report of the previous council, commended the "Three Excellence Units" of the Changchun laundry and dyeing industry, and read out the proposal of the second member representative conference of the Changchun Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association.
Pan Wei, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the Laundry Professional Committee of the China Commercial Federation, was invited to attend the conference. In his speech, Pan Wei said: "'Service for development, technology for development, marketing for development' is a very good topic for discussing industry development. The Changchun Laundry Association's determination to focus its work on improving quality and technology and its specific planning is a very good start. Every task of the association relies on the support of government departments. It is hoped that the new association will promptly follow up on the work arrangements and requirements of government departments. But more importantly, do not forget that the foundation of the association lies in all its members. In the laundry and dyeing industry, it is essential to serve the members well. Self-discipline, coordination, rights protection, and service are the basic responsibilities of the association."
