The 2011 China International Cleaning Industry Expo will be held from May 26 to 28, 2011, at the Beijing National Convention Center Exhibition Hall. This exhibition is approved by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and organized by the China Detergent Industry Association, the Light Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the Plant Protection and Cleaning Machinery Branch of the China Agricultural Machinery Industry Association. It is supported by dozens of national industry associations including the China National Light Industry Council, China General Chamber of Commerce, China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, China Property Management Association, China Hotel Association, National Cleaning Industry Information Center, as well as international associations such as the American Cleaning Institute, British Cleaning Products Industry Association, European Detergent Association, Canadian Consumer Products Association, Australian Detergent Association, Japanese Detergent Association, Swiss Cosmetics and Detergent Association, Indian Home and Personal Care Industry Association, and the Taiwan Soap and Detergent Industry Association of Chinese Taipei. This is the first China International Cleaning Industry Expo supported by these national and regional industry associations.
The 2011 China International Cleaning Industry Expo aims to "promote the development of the cleaning industry and lead green cleaning theory," showcasing products and services in several areas including public facility cleaning, personal and household cleaning, industrial cleaning and washing, and municipal sanitation cleaning.
