The "National Technical Committee 520 on Laundry and Dyeing of Standardization Administration of China" was officially established with the approval of the National Standardization Management Committee. The first National Technical Committee on Laundry and Dyeing consists of 37 members, with Wang Desheng serving as the chairman, Wang Shuyuan, Hu Jianping, Lu Zhiji, and Zhu Lijun as vice chairpersons, Pan Wei as secretary-general, and Wang Houzeng as deputy secretary-general. The Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce undertakes the daily work of its secretariat.
The National Technical Committee on Laundry and Dyeing is mainly responsible for the formulation and revision of national standards in the laundry and dyeing industry, including basic standards, business management, service specifications, technical requirements, and laundry quality requirements.
The establishment of the National Technical Committee on Laundry and Dyeing marks a milestone in the development history of China's laundry and dyeing industry and will accelerate the construction of a national standardization system for the laundry and dyeing industry. By formulating and implementing standards, it aims to regulate the service and business order of the laundry and dyeing industry, improve the service and business level, and promote the branding and internationalization of laundry and dyeing enterprises. Currently, the secretariat of the Laundry Committee is intensively drafting and formulating various working documents of the committee, with plans to hold the inaugural meeting in the first half of next year. Meanwhile, the formulation and planning of various standards in the laundry and dyeing industry are also progressing simultaneously.
