It is reported that on September 5, 2014, the national-level service industry standardization pilot project launch meeting of Guangdong Tiantian Laundry and Cleaning Chain Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Tiantian Laundry") was grandly held at Tiantian Laundry's central factory in the Zengcheng Economic and Technological Development Zone. Nearly a hundred leaders and employee representatives attended the meeting, including Wu Huiwen, Deputy Director of Guangzhou Quality Supervision Bureau; Lu Zhiji, Deputy Director of the National Laundry Standardization Technical Committee, Chairman of Tiantian Laundry, and leader of the pilot project team; Huang Wensheng, Secretary-General of Guangdong Laundry Industry Association, among others.
Deputy Director Wu Huiwen of the Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau delivered a mobilization speech at the meeting. He pointed out that service standards are an important technical support for regulating service behavior and the service market, enhancing self-discipline of service enterprises, and adjusting the relationship between service enterprises and consumers. They are also an important means to improve service quality, enhance overall service quality, and increase international competitiveness. He hoped that Tiantian Laundry would take the standardization pilot work as an opportunity to further sort out, supplement, and improve the enterprise standard system, vigorously promote various standards, standardize operation and management systems, improve management levels, enhance service quality, and elevate the Tiantian Laundry brand to a new height.
Tiantian Laundry Chairman Lu Zhiji presided over the meeting and introduced the main goals and tasks of this national service industry standardization pilot work. Chairman Lu stated that Tiantian Laundry, as the deputy director unit of the National Laundry Standardization Technical Committee, has always taken fulfilling the responsibilities and obligations of the deputy director unit as its mission. Under the organization of the Laundry Professional Committee of the China Commercial Federation, it has successively participated in completing multiple industry and local standards such as "Laundry Shop Compliance Conditions" (SB/T 10988-2013) and "Clothing Washing Quality Requirements" (SB/T 10989-2013). This time, as Tiantian Laundry undertakes the national-level service industry standardization pilot work, the task is heavy and the road is long. Tiantian Laundry will fully utilize its technical advantages and the achievements of standardization activities, actively carry out laundry and cleaning standardization construction, cooperate with the National Laundry Standardization Technical Committee to improve the laundry industry standard system, regulate service behavior and the service market, enhance self-discipline of service enterprises, and adjust the relationship between service enterprises and consumers. This will improve the overall development level of the laundry and cleaning service industry, promote the construction of a harmonious society, and make new contributions to promoting the standardization construction of the laundry and cleaning industry in Guangdong Province and even nationwide.
