The "Senior Working Meeting of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee and the 2011 General Directors' Working Meeting of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee" was successfully held on the afternoon of August 6 at the Yuyang Hotel in Beijing. Leaders invited to attend this meeting included An Huimin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce; Wang Lianzhong, Director of the State-owned Assets Management Office of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council; and Song Guanglan, Director of the Association Office of the SASAC. The meeting specially invited Mr. Bai Pinzhou, Chairman of Beijing Funait Laundry Service Co., Ltd., and Mr. Liao Ming, Vice President of Shanghai Hangxing Machinery Group Co., Ltd., to attend. Also present were leaders of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee including Wang Shuyuan, Deputy Secretary-General of the China General Chamber of Commerce and Director of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee; Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General Pan Wei; Executive Deputy Directors Shu Qi and Wang Houzeng; and Deputy Directors Chen Youqing, Wang Xueren, Ren Fengmei, Chen Qijun, Sun Shanjia, Zhang Rongyao, Zhu Lijun, Zu Xiguang, Song Zikui, Lu Zhiji, Ping Ju, Huang Lianting, Lin Jun, Guo Jidong, Wei Changsheng, Zheng Yunfeng, Xin Yubo, Li Jinxuan, Xue Jun, Xie Qinggui, Huang Zhenyang, Fan Haolong, Zhang Junliang, and Liao Zhiwen.
The meeting began with a speech by Xue Jun, Vice President of the co-organizer Shanghai Hangxing Machinery Group Co., Ltd.; then Secretary-General Pan Wei reported on the work of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee Secretariat; the attending deputy directors reviewed and approved the agenda item "Proposal on Appropriately Adjusting the Membership Fee Standards of Member Units."
At the meeting, Director Wang Shuyuan delivered a report titled "Opening a New Chapter in the Laundry and Dyeing Industry with the Spirit of Reform and Innovation." The report stated that China's laundry and dyeing industry is thriving and the situation is promising, expressing the hope that enterprises will follow the path of technological innovation to further enhance the vitality and dynamism of the industry.
During the meeting, representatives of the association and enterprise leaders made key speeches on various issues currently facing the industry. In the discussion, participants focused on four aspects: the development trends of the laundry and dyeing industry, the current problems faced by laundry services and washing equipment industries, issues related to corporate tax burdens, and suggestions for the association's next steps. Opinions and experiences were exchanged actively, with enthusiastic participation and a lively atmosphere.
At the end of the meeting, Secretary An Huimin, Director Wang Lianzhong, and Director Song Guanglan each gave concluding remarks and took group photos with the attendees. After the meeting, all participants attended a banquet where further communication and exchanges took place. The meeting concluded successfully.
