Research and Development of Silicon-Based Dry Cleaning System Wins First Prize in Commercial Science and Technology Progress Award

Today, the "2014 National Commercial Science and Technology Conference" hosted by the China General Chamber of Commerce was grandly held at the Great Hall of the People. At the meeting, the results of the China General Chamber of Commerce Science and Technology Awards for 2012 and 2013, as well as the 5th and 6th Service Industry Technological Innovation Awards, were announced. Certificates were awarded to the National Commercial Science and Technology Progress Award Special Prize, Commercial Science and Technology Award, Service Industry Technological Innovation Award First Prize, innovative enterprises, and innovative individuals nationwide. The project "Research, Development and Industrialization of Healthy and Environmentally Friendly Silicon-based Dry Cleaning System," recommended by the China General Chamber of Commerce Laundry Professional Committee, won the First Prize of the China General Chamber of Commerce Science and Technology Award - National Commercial Science and Technology Progress Award. 
The "China General Chamber of Commerce Science and Technology Award" is a comprehensive award approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Science and Technology Awards Office. It is the most authoritative award in China's commercial industry for technological innovation, including the "National Commercial Science and Technology Progress Award" (covering technology development projects, social welfare projects, major engineering projects, and popular science projects), "China Commercial Science and Technology Innovation Figures," and "China Commercial Science and Technology Innovative Enterprises."
The award-winning project "Research, Development and Industrialization of Healthy and Environmentally Friendly Silicon-based Dry Cleaning System" targets the world's most advanced silicon-based dry cleaning technology. Through independent innovative research, it developed a new silicon-based dry cleaning technology characterized by new detergent additives (efficiency-enhancing components) with independent intellectual property rights. Breakthroughs were made in the research and development of silicon-based solvents, fabric softeners suitable for silicon-based dry cleaning, dye fixatives, anti-wrinkle agents, detergents, sewage agents, humidifying agents, color renovators, dye transfer inhibitors, fabric softeners, bleaches, and a series of additives and silicon-based dry cleaning equipment. It successfully solved the problems of insufficient washing ability and care effects in silicon-based dry cleaning, as well as difficulties in fabric drying, oil-water separation, and equipment sealing technology. A complete silicon-based dry cleaning system composed of silicon-based solvents, detergents, fabric care agents, and washing equipment was formed and successfully launched on the market.
The laundry industry winning the "National Commercial Science and Technology Progress Award" signifies that the laundry service industry will increasingly trend towards technological innovation in future development. Service innovation, management innovation, and product innovation will drive reform and development in the commercial circulation and service sectors. The laundry industry will also have a brighter future.
