On January 11, 2012, the New Year gathering of directors and experts of the China Business Federation Laundry and Dyeing Committee was held at the Beijing Xixi Friendship Hotel.
Guests attending this gathering included Wang Shuyuan, Director of the China Business Federation Laundry and Dyeing Committee; Pan Wei, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General; Executive Deputy Directors Wang Houzeng and Shu Qi; Deputy Directors Wang Xueren, Zhu Lijun, Zu Xiguang, Pu Jinyong, Guo Jidong, Xin Yubo; Committee Director Wen Lisheng; former Executive Deputy Director Li Qingshan; enterprise leaders Zhou Jie and Chen Hong; experts Wu Jingmiao, Wu Ruizhang, Jiang Xiling, Li Guangze, Wang Chaoyi, Zhang Zhongbang, Yu Jinshan, Ren Shucheng, Yu Tao, Xu Fajiang, Yu Geli; Gao Yunli, Secretary-General of the Beijing Laundry and Dyeing Association; as well as more than 40 laundry and dyeing industry professionals including all staff of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee.
This event began with a news broadcast style report on the new year's outlook for the laundry and dyeing industry, marking the opening of the Year of the Dragon gathering. The event started with a New Year speech by Wang Shuyuan, Director of the China Business Federation Laundry and Dyeing Committee. Director Wang said, 2011 was a year of steady development for the laundry and dyeing industry. In the past year, the Ministry of Commerce issued the "Guiding Opinions on Further Developing the Laundry and Dyeing Industry during the 12th Five-Year Plan Period," demonstrating the country's high attention to the industry. The establishment of the National Laundry and Dyeing Standardization Technical Committee also advanced the standardization work to a new stage. The China International Laundry and Dyeing Industry Exhibition, the National Laundry and Dyeing Vocational Skills Competition, the revision of the National Occupational Standards, and the promotion of online information all progressed steadily in 2011. The successful implementation of these efforts is inseparable from the strong support of the deputy directors, experts, and industry professionals. As the 2012 New Year arrives, the Laundry and Dyeing Committee of the China Business Federation extends New Year wishes to all colleagues, wishing everyone good luck and success in the Year of the Dragon.
The auspicious dragon sails out to sea, clouds bring rain to nourish the earth; the jade rabbit returns to the palace, dancing with Chang'e illuminating the sky. At the gathering, participants sang and danced, exchanged blessings, and with the awarding of lucky prizes, the atmosphere reached a climax. Finally, Secretary-General Pan Wei once again extended New Year greetings on behalf of all staff of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee, wishing everyone a happy Year of the Dragon, prosperous careers, and all the best! The event concluded peacefully amid harmonious sounds.
