The "National Occupational Skill Standard - Leather Care Worker" single volume has been officially published and distributed. The national occupational skill standard for leather care workers was proposed and organized for compilation by the China Commercial Federation Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee, approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and has been officially implemented since November 4, 2010.
This standard aims to objectively reflect the current level of this occupation and the requirements for practitioners. Based on fully considering the impact of economic development, technological progress, and industrial structure changes on this occupation, it divides the leather care worker profession into five levels and clearly stipulates the work content, skill requirements, and knowledge level for leather care workers at the corresponding levels.
The compilation of the standard revolves around the characteristics of being occupation-activity-oriented and competency-centered, while also making it flexible and practical to adjust according to technological development, meeting the needs of training, assessment, and employment.
The "Leather Care Worker" national occupational skill standard was proposed and organized for compilation by the China Commercial Federation Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee, with the development work taking one year. After careful research, writing, discussion, and multiple revisions and verifications by experts, it was finally completed. The promulgation of this standard will play a positive role in regulating the leather care worker talent training market, improving the professional quality and skill level of practitioners, enhancing the competitiveness of China's leather care industry in the international market, and promoting the sound and rapid development of China's leather care industry.
