As the weather warms up, the laundry and dyeing industry is entering its peak season. Due to the uneven quality of laundry enterprises and consumers not choosing laundry shops properly, laundry disputes are increasing, infringing on consumers' legitimate rights and interests. To improve washing quality, provide honest service, meet consumers' laundry service consumption needs, and better serve consumers, the Tianjin Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association offers the following reminders:
First, clothes must be cleaned before storage, especially woolen garments. Do not skip cleaning just because they have been worn few times and appear clean on the surface. With rising temperatures, bacteria multiply rapidly, and uncleaned clothes stored away are prone to moth damage.
Second, down jackets and cotton-padded clothes must be cleaned and fully dried before storage.
Third, leather clothes should have plastic packaging removed before storage. Sealed packaging hinders ventilation of leather products and damages the leather.
Fourth, during the hot summer days, stored clothes should be aired and reorganized once or twice to prevent mildew.
Fifth, when choosing a laundry shop, select Tianjin's renowned laundry industry stores, excellent stores, special-grade stores, first-class stores, and members of the Tianjin Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association. These enterprises have strong technical capabilities and guaranteed laundry quality.
Sixth, check whether the laundry shop displays a business license and has operating qualifications to avoid damage to your clothes.
Seventh, verify if the laundry shop uses the "Tianjin Laundry Service Contract" standard text, where the front of the contract is the receipt for clothes collection, and the back is the "Tianjin Laundry Service Agreement." This contract clearly stipulates your rights and obligations, allowing you to consume transparently and protect your legitimate rights.
