On the afternoon of March 23, the "2012 China Hotel Laundry Energy-saving and Environmental Protection New Technology Application Summit Forum," jointly organized by the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce and the Hainan Hotel Supplies Association, was held in Haikou City, Hainan Province. Pan Wei, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce; Zhang Jun, President of the Hainan Hotel Supplies Industry Association; leaders of the Hainan Federation of Industry and Commerce; laundry industry experts Wang Chaoyi and Wu Shixin, General Manager of Jiangsu Sea Lion Machinery Group; Wang Ming, Deputy General Manager of Jiangsu Sea Lion Machinery Group; Yang Ligang, Manager of the Huicong Cleaning and Laundry Network Market Center; as well as nearly two hundred representatives from public textile laundry and hotel cleaning-related units in Hainan Province and some regions attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Cheng Gang, Secretary-General of the Hainan Hotel Supplies Industry Association.
Pan Wei, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the Laundry Committee, gave a speech titled "Brief Talk on Public Textile Laundry" at the meeting. He said: To build Hainan into an international tourist island, it is necessary to have good tourism reception conditions and a good tourism ecological environment. We must use good equipment, good management, and good technology to achieve first-class service for public textiles. Therefore, we should not only focus on hard work but also look up to see the path, pay attention to industry development, and learn modern management and business concepts as well as continuously improving technology. He said: There is a huge gap between China's public textile laundry service business model and production methods compared to developed countries. With the development of China's economy and market competition, there will be a shift from decentralized laundry to service modes dominated by leasing and centralized laundry, and from simple, backward, inefficient, and high-resource-consuming production methods to automated, efficient, and low-resource-consuming production methods. The modernization process of China's public textiles is just beginning, and China's public textile laundry service is flourishing!
Industry experts and entrepreneur representatives Wang Chaoyi, Wang Ming, Yang Ligang, and Song Guxiang respectively gave speeches titled "The Past and Future of Laundry in High-Star Hotels," "New Developments in the Laundry Industry—Energy-saving and Environmental Protection New Technologies," "Low-temperature Laundry Leading New Trends," and "Development Mindset of Public Textile Laundry Services," which were well received by the attendees.
