Both sides exchanged gifts, and the UK association expressed great anticipation for more cooperation and development opportunities with the China Laundry Committee in the future.
On October 12, everyone visited London Linen, a company specializing in laundry and rental services for the catering industry in London. Founded in 1935 as a family business, it grew from two small laundries to now owning three professional laundry companies, providing laundry and chef uniform rental services for the hotel market's catering sector. It has two 18-chamber 50kg washing lines and became part of the UK's largest laundry factory Johnson Service Group in 2015. The company also places special emphasis on maintaining customer relationships, with partners from 1959 still cooperating today.

As the company expanded, the laundry factory was relocated to the current site eight years ago. It has one 9-chamber 50kg washing line (specifically for towel washing), one 16-chamber, and one 18-chamber 50kg washing line. The entire factory employs 100 people including workers and management, working in two shifts daily with 40 people per shift. The daily washing volume reaches 40 tons, working six days a week. The linen finishing rate can reach 97%. The factory has an independent sewage treatment system and uses natural gas as the main energy source. It is a highly mechanized enterprise.
On October 19, the inspection team visited the EXPODetergo International in Milan, Italy, a professional textile treatment exhibition held for four consecutive days. This was the opening day. It is regarded as the second largest laundry industry exhibition in Europe and is organized by the Italian laundry industry association. This year's exhibition area was about 17,000 square meters, showcasing equipment, chemicals, auxiliaries, and accessories related to the laundry industry. The China Laundry Committee, along with some local Chinese associations and enterprises, organized a visiting group of about seventy people. During this time, Director Pan Wei of the China Laundry Committee had brief talks with Mr. Felice Mapelli, Chairman of the Italian Association, Mr. Livio Bassan, Chairman of EXPODetergo, and Executive Director Alessandro Rolli. Through learning and visiting outstanding foreign enterprises and in-depth exchanges with industry peers and elites from the UK, Italy, and the inspection group, they not only learned advanced foreign management experience and inheritance concepts but also deepened communication within the industry and between domestic and foreign enterprises, building a good platform for further cooperation and exchanges in the future.
The UK-Italy inspection and exchange activity organized by the China Laundry Committee received strong support from the UK Laundry Industry Union, Herber Kenny Kisha Laundry Equipment (Shanghai) Company, and Jensen Industrial Laundry Technology (Xuzhou) Company Shanghai Branch, for which they express deep gratitude.
