On December 13, the "2013 China International Service Brand Development Forum" was successfully held at the Beijing International Hotel. It was hosted by the Economic Information Department of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Commercial Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the Commercial Industry Chamber of the International Chamber of Commerce, with joint support from the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the Asia Marketing Alliance, and co-organized by units such as the Professional Committee of Laundry and Dyeing of the China General Chamber of Commerce. The theme of this forum was "Cultivating Service Brands, Developing the Service Economy, Benefiting People's Lives."
Representatives from 48 co-initiating units of the Joint Meeting for the Promotion of China's Independent Brand Building in the Commercial and Trade Service Industry, including the Professional Committee of Laundry and Dyeing of the China General Chamber of Commerce, were invited, along with participation and support from more than ten media outlets such as Sina Finance Channel.
The forum began with a speech by Jia Huai, Deputy Director of the Economic Information Department of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. Subsequently, Dr. Chu Xiangyin, Vice President of the China Association of Trade in Services, Liu Jiecheng, Assistant Director of the Cultural Industry Research Institute of Peking University, and Yan Qiming, former Vice Chairman of the Asia Marketing Alliance, delivered keynote speeches on the themes "Current Status and Trends of Cultivating China's Service Brands," "Thoughts on Accelerating the Construction of China's Service Brands," and "Four Practical Tips for Marketing Service Brands," respectively. These three experts provided a vivid and practical course for the forum from the perspectives of macro development of commercial service brands, case studies, and practical applications.
Pan Wei, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee, was invited to participate in a roundtable discussion and guest dialogue event themed "Providing Quality Services and Cultivating Residential Life Service Industry Brands." During the event, the invited guests introduced topics such as the association's brand development focus, well-known brand enterprises, and future development goals. In the discussion, Pan Wei elaborated in depth on the importance of integrity in brand building within the laundry and dyeing industry and reported on the progress of brand construction in the industry. This event deepened the audience's understanding of associations in China's commercial service sector and highlighted the association's contributions to building service brands.
