　　European Study Tour Yields Rich Results

　　 From October 11 to 22, a senior inspection delegation of 24 members from China's laundry and dyeing industry, led by Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General Pan Wei, successfully completed their study, learning, and visit activities in Europe. The purpose was to exchange industry development experiences with European colleagues, learn new concepts in laundry shop management, and explore the latest leather care technologies.

　　 On the morning of the 12th local time, the inspection team met with the Shanghai delegation that arrived earlier at the All France Textile Care Exhibition at the Versailles Gate Exhibition Center in Paris, forming a 37-person Chinese laundry industry exhibition visiting group. This was the largest foreign delegation at the exhibition and attracted great attention from international peers. All members attended the forum "Preferred Solutions for Professional Textile Care" hosted by the International Textile Care Committee, listening to speeches from experts from France, the United States, Russia, Denmark, and other countries. Secretary-General Pan Wei, as the Chinese representative, delivered a report titled "Development Status of China's Laundry and Dyeing Industry" at the forum, which elicited strong responses from foreign colleagues. Afterwards, the group visited the world's largest chain laundry, Wuyoujie Laundry, and had in-depth exchanges with the store. They also inspected PRESSING ROYAL, a wet cleaning laundry using exclusively wet cleaning technology, where members made detailed inquiries and gained a deep understanding of the washing equipment and detergents used.

　　 On the 18th, the delegation went to the headquarters of Finis in Italy for study and exchange, warmly received by President Mr. GIUSEPPE PISI. Members visited the Finis technology R&D center, leather chemical workshop, and shoe chemical workshop. A leather care expert was specially arranged to give a professional explanation of the latest leather care technologies and invited members to practice hands-on.

　　Laundry and Dyeing Committee Leadership Conducts Inspection and Research, Plans Next Year's Work with Enterprise Leaders

　　 On October 28, Director Wang Shuyuan, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General Pan Wei, Executive Deputy Director Wang Houzeng, and Deputy Secretary-General Xue Dapeng visited Rongchang Ilsa for inspection and research. They toured the laundry factory and the company's cultural park, listened to introductions on laundry service processes, factory construction ideas, and corporate culture, and held discussions with Chairman Zhang Rongyao on industry development, innovation, application of network information technology in the laundry and dyeing industry, and industry training. Director Wang highly praised Rongchang's contributions in exploring laundry and dyeing models, saying: Rongchang has been established for 23 years, and its development is truly hard-earned. The Laundry and Dyeing Committee thanks Rongchang for its long-term support of the association and will continue to strengthen service capabilities to assist enterprise development.

　　 On November 1, Director Wang Shuyuan and Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General Pan Wei met in Beijing with Chen Youqing, President of the Laundry Equipment Branch of the China Light Industry Machinery Association and former Chairman of Jiangsu Sea Lion Group, and General Manager Wu Shixin. They discussed strengthening close cooperation between associations, promoting industry self-discipline, formulating and promoting industry standards, and leading healthy industry development. They reached consensus on further promoting the application of environmentally friendly excellent washing equipment, jointly organizing laundry industry exhibitions, and jointly developing industry standards.

　　 On November 4, Director Wang Shuyuan, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General Pan Wei, Deputy Secretary-General Xue Dapeng, and others first visited Beijing Peking Medical Textiles Co., Ltd. for research. General Manager Lu Ying and Assistant General Manager Yang Yi gave detailed introductions to the company's basic situation and development goals and guided a tour of the production workshop. Afterwards, the Laundry and Dyeing Committee leaders visited Beijing Top Industry and Trade Development Center. Under the introductions of General Managers Wang Ping and Wang Wei, they toured the daily clothing store and the washing workshop under renovation. The ingenious design, reasonable layout, advanced equipment, and unique business philosophy received high praise from Director Wang.

　　 On November 5, Director Wang Shuyuan, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General Pan Wei, Executive Deputy Director Wang Houzeng, and others inspected Beijing Yousa Washing Equipment Co., Ltd., warmly received by Director Roman Prado and General Manager Xu Gendi of Yousa. Mr. Prado gave an in-depth analysis of Yousa's business philosophy, the application and development of new international solvents during the discussion. He praised the Laundry and Dyeing Committee's work for promoting industry development, especially the importance of international exchanges and communication for enterprise growth.

　　Laundry and Dyeing Committee Party Branch Holds Party Member Development Meeting

　　 On December 3, the Laundry and Dyeing Committee Party Branch held a party member development meeting attended by Wang Shuyuan, Pan Wei, all party members, and party activists. The meeting was chaired by Party Branch Secretary Liu Yunli. After voting, Li Shuyu, Hao Xiaomeng, and Chen Qian were accepted as probationary members of the Communist Party of China. At the meeting, Pan Wei said: The Laundry and Dyeing Committee has always attached great importance to cultivating young people, appreciates their pursuit of ideological progress and behavior, and hopes you will strictly demand yourselves by the standards of Communist Party members, pursue excellence in work, and be outstanding individuals. 　　Outstanding Brand Laundry and Dyeing Promotion Campaign Launched

　　 To further promote outstanding brands and individuals in the laundry and dyeing industry and expand their influence in society and the industry, the Laundry and Dyeing Committee launched a series of lectures on laundry business knowledge and clothing care common sense starting December 18 on two existing public WeChat platforms, featuring outstanding enterprises and individuals recognized at the "2012 First China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Awards" as industry representatives.

　　 The "China Laundry Association" WeChat platform promotes service-oriented outstanding brands to the public through broadcasting laundry knowledge and home laundry-related information. The "China Commercial Federation Laundry Professional Committee" WeChat platform releases professional information such as washing machine usage tips, operating procedures, chemical characteristics, and operation methods, targeting industry insiders.

　　 The "China Laundry Association (Laundry Encyclopedia)" and "China Commercial Federation Laundry Committee" WeChat platforms have rapidly increased their subscriber numbers through promotion by the Laundry and Dyeing Committee and have established a certain influence among the public. The Committee hopes industry professionals actively follow and participate in this public WeChat activity, leveraging well-known brands and advanced figures to positively guide society and the industry; it also hopes this activity will encourage enterprises to standardize and refine various operating procedures and further improve business standards.

　　Laundry and Dyeing Committee Interviewed by Jinghua Times, Answers Laundry and Dyeing Questions

　　 Recently, the Laundry and Dyeing Committee was interviewed by Jinghua Times to address the frequent laundry accidents and disputes recently. They also provided detailed explanations on common consumer misunderstandings. The article "Detailed Communication Beforehand, Fewer Laundry Disputes" was published in the December 13 home edition of Jinghua Times. The Committee adapted this into a series titled "What to Pay Attention to When Doing Laundry at a Laundry Shop" on their WeChat platform, receiving very positive feedback.

　　 Laundry and Dyeing Committee Collaborates with Beijing TV to Record Leather Care Program

　　 On November 6th, the Laundry and Dyeing Committee jointly recorded the program "Life 2013" with Beijing TV Life Channel, mainly focusing on the care methods for suede shoes and casual shoes. The recording took place at the Hanhuang headquarters, with China's laundry and dyeing industry expert and Hanhuang Deputy General Manager Yu Geli leading the team to participate. The program was broadcast on November 26th on Beijing TV Life Channel.

　　Secretariat staff visit laundry shops for hands-on learning

　　 Since September, the Secretariat staff of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee have successively interned at frontline positions in laundry stores, starting from initial training for laundry staff, then trying out processes such as front desk garment collection, dry cleaning and wet cleaning stain removal, washing, drying, quality inspection, and packaging, gaining a lot. The Laundry and Dyeing Committee has always attached great importance to cultivating the comprehensive abilities of Secretariat personnel, especially young people, aiming to build a professional secretariat team to provide better services for members and enterprises. This planned in-depth frontline learning and training at laundry stores is a measure to improve the professional skills of Secretariat staff.

　　 On December 12th, the Laundry and Dyeing Committee issued the "Notice on Paying Attention to the Laundry and Dyeing Committee's WeChat Information Platforms," clarifying the existing WeChat platforms including: "China Commercial Federation Laundry Professional Committee" and "China Laundry Association (Laundry Encyclopedia)" WeChat public platforms, Fetion, QQ group sharing platforms "China Laundry," "China Leather Care," and "China Public Textile Washing," as well as Weibo accounts for "China Commercial Federation Laundry Professional Committee," "China Laundry Network," "China Leather Care," "National Laundry Standards Committee," "China Laundry Journal," "Home Laundry," and "China Laundry Association." The notice explains how to join and use these various WeChat information platforms.

　　 The document points out: WeChat information platforms serve as a fast communication tool between the Laundry and Dyeing Committee and the public, industry peers, and related personnel, playing an increasingly important role. They are also the most economical and convenient channels for information release and acquisition, having developed rapidly in recent years. The document calls on local industry associations, laundry service and related enterprises, and member units to keep up with social trends, grasp modern information tools, strengthen attention to the Laundry and Dyeing Committee's WeChat platforms, actively participate in platform exchanges and interactions to achieve functions such as information release, technical communication, management improvement, early warning of possible laundry accidents, popularization of laundry knowledge, enhancing cohesion, and guiding healthy and harmonious industry development.

　　Laundry and Dyeing Committee 2014 Work Highlights Released

　　 According to the "Guiding Opinions of the Ministry of Commerce on Further Developing the Laundry Industry During the 12th Five-Year Plan," the 2014 work arrangements of the China Commercial Federation, and the Laundry and Dyeing Committee's 2014 key work plan, combined with opinions and suggestions from the "2013 China Laundry Industry Leaders Summit" and actual industry conditions, the Laundry and Dyeing Committee released the 2014 work highlights on December 17th.

　　 The highlights clearly state: placing standardization work in a prominent position, strengthening training and professional qualification assessments, holding practical and effective industry exchange activities, conducting industry development research, promoting environmental progress in the industry, further standardizing and enhancing brand quality through recommendation activities, successfully hosting large exhibitions, negotiating industry resource integration, improving information platforms, enhancing information effectiveness and coverage, adhering to the service-oriented basic philosophy, strengthening association construction, covering eight key areas of work.

　　Laundry and Dyeing Committee appoints additional deputy directors, deputy secretaries-general, and experts; adjusts some Secretariat positions

　　 After research by the Laundry and Dyeing Committee Director's Office and approval by the higher authorities: Guo Shunjing, Li Suting, and Wu Xiansheng were appointed as deputy directors of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee; Wang Baohong and Shen Keming were appointed as deputy secretaries-general.

　　 According to relevant regulations, after personal application and expert recommendation, the following were appointed as members of the Expert Committee: Wang Jiping, Gong Yan, Hu Kaiyan, Wang Ping, Yan Congxiao, Lu Ping, Wu Tiechen, and Liu Luju.

　　 After research by the Director's Office, it was decided to adjust some Secretariat positions, appointing Feng Jinna as Director of the General Affairs Department and Yan Wen as Assistant to the Director (Deputy Director level).

　　The preparatory work for the establishment of the "China Laundry and Dyeing Association" is underway.
