On July 11, 2012, the opening ceremony of the 3rd Dalian Laundry Festival was held at Xi'an Road Pedestrian Street. This Laundry Festival was organized by the Dalian Service Industry Committee, Dalian Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association, and Dalian Zhongxin National Consumer Guidance Center, and co-organized by Dama Laundry Co., Ltd., Wanjia Laundry Service Co., Ltd., Yiersa Laundry Co., Ltd., Meinisi Laundry Technology Service Co., Ltd., Youbang Laundry Co., Ltd., Cupid Laundry Technology Co., Ltd., Ailan Clean Laundry Co., Ltd., Riyang Laundry and Dyeing Co., Ltd., and other units.
Leaders from the Municipal Service Industry Committee, Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau, and other relevant units attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Laundry Festival opening. At the opening ceremony, plaques were awarded to the first 22 units that obtained the "Standardized Laundry Stores in the Laundry and Dyeing Industry." This evaluation of standardized laundry stores was open to all laundry stores in the city, aiming to promote the implementation of two local standards for Dalian's laundry and dyeing industry: "Service and Technical Specifications" and "Classification and Evaluation of Grade Stores." The standards for this standardization evaluation represent the minimum requirements for laundry stores operating in Dalian. The evaluation criteria for standardized stores require having a valid business license, dry cleaning machines, ironing equipment, and employees who have undergone formal training and hold professional qualification certificates.
The application for evaluation lasted for one month, with 50 laundry stores from various districts and counties of Dalian participating. Based on the applications, the Dalian Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association formed an evaluation team to conduct on-site assessments at each store. Finally, according to the evaluation standards, 22 "Standardized Laundry Stores" were selected as follows:
Dalian Sanyo Laundry Century Street Store, Niji Textile and Leather Care Workshop, Cupid Laundry Development Zone Store, Funait Laundry Gorky Road Store, Yiben Color Laundry Huale Store, Ailan Clean Laundry May Day Store, Fumeijia Laundry Xinhua Oasis Store, Zhuanghe Daguangming Laundry Store, Dama Laundry Wusi Square Store, Yiben Color Laundry Silicon Valley Holiday Store, Shangri-La Laundry Store, Pulandian Hengtai Laundry Store, Pulandian Tangren Laundry Store, Cupid Laundry Jinxiu Store, Funait Laundry Jiefang Road Store, Funait Laundry Wansui Street Store, Funait Laundry Yan'an Road Store, Meinisi Laundry Club, Meinisi Laundry Elegant Style Store, Yiersa Laundry Wanda Huafu Store, Oasis Laundry Xiuyue Store, Riyang Jiuhe Dry Cleaning Xinghai Store, etc.
To promote standardized management of laundry stores, evaluations of standardized laundry stores will be conducted successively. The Dalian Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association also reminds citizens to choose standardized laundry stores when washing clothes. Employees of standardized laundry stores have undergone professional training, ensuring the quality of washing.
During the Laundry Festival, various laundry units participated in promoting laundry knowledge, distributing small handbooks on laundry tips. Association laundry and dyeing experts provided on-site consultation services to solve problems citizens encounter in washing and storing clothes.
The Dalian Laundry Festival has been held for three consecutive sessions, creating a good opportunity to enhance the status of laundry workers, increase industry cohesion, and promote the development of the laundry industry. The Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China Commercial Federation sent a congratulatory letter to the Dalian Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association. Laundry and dyeing associations nationwide also extended their congratulations to our association, wishing the 3rd Dalian Laundry Festival a complete success! Media such as Dalian Daily, Dalian Evening News, Peninsula Morning Post, and New Business News reported on the Laundry Festival.
On the evening of the Laundry Festival, a member networking event was held to welcome new members to join the association. Dalian Youbang Laundry Co., Ltd., Dalian Cupid Laundry Technology Co., Ltd., Dalian Yiersa Laundry Co., Ltd., and Dalian Xianfang Shoe Materials Co., Ltd. provided prizes for the networking event. The prizes were laundry store supplies, with a 100% winning rate, and all participants left fully satisfied.
