To implement the spirit of the "Guiding Opinions of the Ministry of Commerce on Further Promoting Statistical Work in the Commercial Circulation Industry" (Shang Liutong Fa [2012] No. 192), improve the statistical work system in the field of life services, standardize statistical work procedures, enhance the quality and level of statistical work, and carry out the 2013 statistical analysis and report writing work, the Service Trade Department held a three-day training class in Beijing from November 18 to 20, 2013. Deputy Inspector Wang Huiying of the Service Trade Department delivered a mobilization speech. Director Peng Kequan of the Service Trade Department gave the first lesson: the current development status and main tasks of the life service industry, and assigned the main work tasks for the life service industry in 2014. Liang Zhaoshan, Jiang Shizhu, Minister Zhang Lijun and President Zhai Zhihong of the Commercial Federation respectively gave lectures. A total of 64 representatives from commerce departments (bureaus) and national industry associations across the country participated in the training. Deputy Secretary-General Xue Dapeng and Secretary Chen Qian of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee attended the training. During the meeting, two plenary exchanges were organized. Deputy Secretary-General Xue Dapeng gave a plenary speech covering the composition and responsibilities of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee units, main work and activities, main characteristics and tasks, as well as opinions and suggestions on laundry and dyeing industry standards and statistical work. The speech was well received by Researcher Liang Zhaoshan of the Ministry of Commerce and some provincial and municipal representatives. Representatives from commerce departments and other industry associations in Anhui, Jiangxi, Inner Mongolia, and other regions immediately expressed their willingness to strengthen contact with the Laundry and Dyeing Committee and jointly carry out work.
