Work report for the second issue of 2015

　　Director Wang Shuyuan Visits Sichuan for Inspection and Research

　　At the invitation of the Sichuan Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association and Chengdu Lvjie Laundry Enterprise Management Co., Ltd., Director Wang Shuyuan and Deputy Secretary-General Xue Dapeng of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee visited Chengdu, Sichuan from April 17 to 20 for inspection and research.

　　During the visit, they inspected 14 enterprises and units including the Sichuan Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association, Sanhe Cleaners Company and its flagship store, Chengdu Lvjie Laundry Enterprise Management Co., Ltd., Calabor Network Company, the headquarters and four franchise stores of Sichuan Blanchi Company, Jiajia Meier Laundry Factory and stores, Rachel Cleaning Service Co., Ltd., and the Laundry Management Center of West China Hospital.

　　Approval Meeting for Two National Standards Including "Terminology of Laundry and Dyeing Industry" Held

　　On April 29, with the approval and project establishment by the National Standardization Administration, the approval meeting for two national standards, "Terminology of Laundry and Dyeing Industry" and "Quality Requirements for Cleaning of Public Textiles," proposed by the Ministry of Commerce and the National Laundry and Dyeing Standardization Technical Committee and organized by the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce, was held in Beijing.

　　These two standards are the first batch of national standards in China's laundry and dyeing industry. The meeting was chaired by Pan Wei, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee and Secretary-General of the National Laundry and Dyeing Standardization Technical Committee (referred to as the Laundry Standards Committee). Attendees included Wang Shuyuan, Director of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee and Deputy Director of the Laundry Standards Committee; Wang Houzeng, Executive Deputy Director of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee and member and Deputy Secretary-General of the Laundry Standards Committee; Zhang Fan from the Ministry of Commerce's Service Trade and Commercial Service Industry Department. A total of 23 industry experts, association, and enterprise representatives including Wang Xueran, Zhu Lijun, Lin Jun, Guo Jidong, You Rui, Liu Shuqing, Yang Ze, Wang Baohong, Xin Yubo, Yu Jinshan, Jia Runze, Wu Fang, Zhang Jie, Shi Changhong, Yan Congxiao, Xu Chunyuan, and Ma Xiangliang participated in the meeting.

　　Two Laundry Industry Standards Approved and Established by the Ministry of Commerce

　　According to the "Notice from the General Office of the Ministry of Commerce on Issuing the First Batch of Domestic Trade Industry Standard Project Plans for 2015," two industry standards, "Public Textile Cleaning Service Specification" and "Clothing Cleaning Service Specification," submitted by the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce under the National Laundry and Dyeing Standardization Technical Committee, were approved and established by the Ministry of Commerce. The Laundry and Dyeing Committee will organize the formulation and related work of these two standards together with the National Laundry Standards Committee. According to the plan, these two standards will be completed in 2016.

　　China Laundry Industry Internet Conference Successfully Held

　　The "China Laundry Industry Internet Conference" was held on May 7, 2015, at the Shangri-La Hotel in Dalian. The conference was hosted by the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce and co-organized by the Dalian Laundry Industry Association. More than 200 representatives from nationwide laundry services, laundry equipment manufacturing, laundry chemical auxiliaries, laundry industry associations, internet, investment and financing, exhibition advertising, printing enterprises, media, and representatives from Japan, the UK, Taiwan, and other countries and regions attended the conference.

　　This conference was the first internet conference in China's laundry industry, promoting cross-sector connection and cooperation between the internet and traditional laundry industry. The conference featured a summit forum, high-end dialogues, and a standing cocktail party, deeply exploring the application and development prospects of internet technology in the laundry industry, and rationally analyzing and discussing various possibilities of combining the traditional laundry industry with high-tech internet industries.

　　Laundry Committee Leads Internet Laundry Enterprise Representatives to Attend Ministry of Commerce's Internet Technology Application Symposium for Commercial Service Industry

　　On June 3, the Ministry of Commerce held a symposium on the application of internet technology in the commercial service industry at the Ministry's headquarters, with the Laundry Committee leading representatives of outstanding internet laundry enterprises to attend.

　　At the meeting, representatives from seven commercial service industry associations and enterprises spoke about the application of internet technology (including application models), typical cases, existing problems, and countermeasure suggestions.

　　Secretary-General Pan Wei explained the application of internet technology in the laundry industry at the meeting. He said that currently, the laundry industry focuses on "Internet + Laundry Service," mainly reflected in O2O laundry services, further promotion of RFID technology in the industry, and remote intelligent control of laundry shops and factories.

　　Representatives of internet laundry enterprises also reported on current problems encountered. Representatives such as Yao Zongchang, founder of Taidi Laundry; Xu Sen, general manager of Wuzhijing Laundry; and Sun Xuefeng, assistant chairman of E-Dai Laundry, reported and exchanged views on current issues.

　　Director Wang Shuyuan Visits Shanghai for Inspection and Research

　　On June 7, Wang Shuyuan, Director of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce, and Wang Houzeng, Executive Deputy Director, attended the 20th anniversary celebration of Shanghai Chunchun Laundry.

　　On June 8, Director Wang Shuyuan and Deputy Director Wang Houzeng visited Shanghai Luhuan Laundry Company and praised its steady development. During the visit, Director Wang exchanged views with Dai Jie, President of the Shanghai Laundry Industry Association, and the leadership team on current industry challenges, difficulties, and countermeasures.

　　2015 National Luxury Leather Care Related Activities Conclude

　　The "2015 National Luxury Leather Care Related Activities," hosted by the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce and co-organized by Zhejiang Finichi Industry and Trade Company and the Shanghai Appraisal Station of the China General Chamber of Commerce Vocational Skills Appraisal Center, successfully concluded at the Pullman Hotel in Wenzhou. Nearly 200 participants from more than 20 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions attended the event.

　　Detailed Plan for the 9th National Laundry Industry Vocational Skills Competition Released

　　The detailed plan for the 2015 China Skills Competition—the 9th National Laundry Industry Vocational Skills Competition—was released. The plan confirmed that the competition will be held from August 5 to 7, 2015, at the Beijing Royal Hotel (adjacent to the old China International Exhibition Center). The schedule, venue arrangements, naming units for six competition events, and designated equipment and chemicals for the competition were also announced in the detailed plan.

　　Laundry Committee Director Wang Shuyuan Visits Dalian and Taiyuan to Participate in Laundry Festival Activities

　　At the invitation of the Dalian Laundry Industry Association and Taiyuan Laundry Industry, Director Wang Shuyuan, accompanied by Deputy Secretary-General Xue Dapeng of the Laundry Committee, visited Dalian and Taiyuan on July 11 and July 17 respectively to participate in laundry festival activities and warmly meet with attending representatives.

　　Laundry Industry Exhibits at the 10th China Retailers Conference and National Commercial Service Industry Commendation Conference

　　On July 9, the 10th China Retailers Conference and the National Commercial Service Industry "Women Making New Contributions, Building the Chinese Dream Together" summary and commendation meeting, hosted by the China General Chamber of Commerce, was held in Kunshan.

　　The Suzhou Laundry Industry Association represented the Laundry Committee in exhibiting at the 10th China Retailers Conference. At the Laundry Committee's booth, promotional materials for the China Laundry Industry Exhibition, some local laundry associations and representative enterprises, and the "China Laundry" journal were displayed. The well-illustrated exhibition was praised by leaders including Zhang Zhigang, President of the China General Chamber of Commerce.

　　National Commercial Service Industry "Women Making New Contributions, Building the Chinese Dream Together" Summary and Commendation Meeting. Recommended by the Laundry and Dyeing Committee and related units, Zhang Chengjuan, Chen Aihua, Bao Licong, Liu Sufang, Shen Huilan, Xu Manli, Yan Congxiao, Zhao Yanhong, Hu Kaiyan, and Xu Gendi from the laundry and dyeing industry were awarded the Women Making Contributions Model Worker title. Shanghai Lvhua Laundry Company, Kunshan Ziwei Cleaning Service Company Front Desk Team, and Hangzhou Kaiyuan Zhijiang Cleaning Chain Company City Center Store were awarded the Women’s Civilized Post.
