The National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Knowledge Competition Successfully Concluded

On September 23-24, 2012, the National Laundry Industry Knowledge Competition, jointly organized by the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce and the National Laundry Standardization Technical Committee, was held in Shanghai. Leaders from relevant departments of the Ministry of Commerce of China, the China General Chamber of Commerce, and the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce, as well as the most renowned entrepreneurs and experts from laundry associations across the country, attended the award ceremony.
This competition attracted nearly 70 contestants from provinces, cities, and autonomous regions including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Jilin, Liaoning, Ningxia, Jiangsu, Anhui, Shaanxi, Hangzhou, and Qingdao to participate in the finals. After fierce competition, Li Qiaoling from Qingdao Jieshen Laundry Co., Ltd., Li Hui from Aowei Site Tianjin Buffalo Dry Cleaning Shop, and Li Hangye from Shanghai Luhuan Laundry Co., Ltd. won first, second, and third place respectively. Ten contestants including Wang Yanling, Huang Xinghong, Fu Haiying, Wu Qiaomei, Li Hui, Du Yunfang, Li Qiaoling, Zhang Jinxiang, Li Hangye, and Chen Xueling were awarded the honorary title of "National Laundry Industry Technical Expert."
The National Laundry Industry Knowledge Competition is an important event held to support the "Quality Service" campaign carried out nationwide by the Ministry of Commerce. It aims to improve the service level of China's laundry industry, promote the construction of employee quality projects, and showcase the style of laundry industry workers. The competition is conducted in a closed-book written test format to assess contestants' knowledge of laundry industry standards and technical knowledge. Through the competition, the purpose of promoting laundry industry standards and popularizing laundry technical knowledge has been achieved, playing a role in promoting the standardized and regulated development of the laundry industry.
Pan Wei, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the Laundry Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce, gave an introduction to the competition.
Wang Houzeng, Secretary-General of the National Laundry Industry Knowledge Competition, presented awards to the top ten contestants.
