The sky is high and the clouds are light, the autumn air is crisp, and the maple leaves in September are as red as fire! With the approach of the "Golden Week" of National Day, hotel bookings around tourist destinations are booming! However, recently, there have been frequent exposures of the hygiene conditions of hotel textiles. At this moment, in order to better ensure everyone enjoys a happy trip during the Golden Week and returns healthy, as well as to strengthen tourists' and consumers' awareness of the hygiene conditions of hotel textiles and regulate the healthy development of the hotel and laundry industries, HC Laundry Network, together with Sina, HC Cleaning Network, and HC Hotel Network, jointly launched the large-scale public welfare campaign "We Need the Truth: Focusing on the Pain of Public Textile Hygiene — A Large Survey on the Hygiene Conditions of Hotel Textiles." Good afternoon, everyone!
I am honored to be invited to participate in the press conference of "We Need the Truth: Focusing on the Pain of Public Textile Hygiene — A Large Survey on the Hygiene Conditions of Hotel Textiles" and to communicate with the leaders and experts present.
Recently, some media have repeatedly exposed hygiene problems in hotel textiles, causing widespread discussion in society and drawing people's attention to the hygiene issues of public hotel textiles. As a member of the laundry industry, I have also been thinking about how to reassure consumers about the hygiene and safety of hotel textiles.
The laundry industry is a traditional industry closely related to people's lives. The development of tourism has driven the hotel industry, which in turn has led to rapid growth in the laundry industry. While we see opportunities, we also face significant challenges. Just as we have found varying degrees of problems in hotel textiles today, we need to work together with various industries to solve these issues.
This event organized by HC Laundry Network in cooperation with HC Cleaning Network, HC Hotel Network, and Sina is indeed helping the industry move towards a healthier and more orderly direction. As an industry insider, I thank you.
As far as I know, before this, HC Laundry Network conducted undercover investigations on some budget hotels in Beijing, Shanghai, and other places, obtaining a large amount of practical data. We have also heard some public voices. To be honest, the laundry industry does have some disorderly competition and price wars.
Market competition generally unfolds on three levels: price competition, quality competition, and brand competition, with brand competition being the highest level. A brand represents a company's product quality, service, and credit. The holding of this press conference has played a certain role in enhancing the industry's self-discipline and standardization, and it is a very meaningful event for the healthy and orderly development of China's laundry industry.
Here, I would also like to make a call, hoping that this event will encourage the hotel industry to improve service quality through scientific management. Regarding the laundry industry itself, I also hope that this event will help more industry professionals realize the importance of product quality to an industry and a company. Let us all create a fair and positive development environment so that our consumers can stay in hotels with peace of mind during their travels and gain health and happiness.
