It is reported that the 2012 International Franchise (Shanghai) Exhibition, hosted by the China Chain Store & Franchise Association, will be held from September 15 to 17, 2012, at the Shanghai International Exhibition Center. As the largest and highest-level franchise exhibition in southern China, it has been successfully held eight times, showcasing over a thousand franchise brands and attracting more than 200,000 visitors. After eight years, the exhibition has become an indispensable promotion platform for franchise brands to expand into the southern China market, the preferred choice for overseas franchise brands entering China, and the best opportunity for investors to find franchise projects.
This year's exhibition has made breakthrough improvements in exhibition scale, number of participating brands, and the diversity of industries represented, fully occupying both floors of the Shanghai International Exhibition Center. The exhibition attracted over 200 franchise brands, including internationally renowned brands such as KFC, Super 8 Hotel, Adidas, as well as excellent local Shanghai brands like Hualian and Morning Glory Stationery. It is a great opportunity for investors to choose franchise projects and start businesses. Malaysia, South Korea, and Taiwan even formed delegations bringing over a hundred outstanding franchise brands, most of which are entering the Chinese market for the first time. Joining these international brands will surely give a competitive edge in the future market.
Visit the exhibition to select projects with high efficiency and low risk
Whether investing in a franchise brand will succeed largely depends on selecting a brand that suits oneself and meets market demand. The choice of industry and brand plays a crucial role in investment success. However, how to find legitimate and promising franchise brands has always been a concern for many investors. Factors such as lack of information, low credibility of online information, and lack of professional guidance restrict investors from entering the franchise field. Among the many ways and channels to find franchise brands, attending professional exhibitions is undoubtedly the most direct and efficient method. At one exhibition, investors can communicate face-to-face with hundreds of franchise brand representatives and get free on-site answers from industry experts, greatly shortening the time to find brands and reducing investment risks.
Partnering with foreign brands to seize market opportunities
Investing in franchise brands can reduce risks, and joining overseas brands is a very promising investment direction. In recent years, joining overseas brands has become a hot trend among investors, especially those with strong investment capabilities who prefer overseas brands. Choosing to cooperate with overseas franchise brands allows leveraging the influence of international brands, learning from mature business models and management experience, improving management levels, and reducing franchise investment risks. Joining foreign brands not only offers high investment returns but also helps seize market opportunities and build strong brands, achieving great success. This exhibition features over a hundred overseas brands from Malaysia, South Korea, the United States, Italy, France, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and other regions. Most of these overseas brands are exhibiting in mainland China for the first time, providing more investment options for investors.
Economic hotel franchising surges again
Economic chain hotel giants such as Super 8, Jinjiang Inn, 7 Days Inn, Ibis, GreenTree Inn, and Jingyue 99 Inn gather at the exhibition, extending an olive branch to investors from across the country. Economic hotels have always been favored by investors due to their high occupancy rates, standardized management, and the characteristics of one-time investment with long-term stable returns. Domestic and international economic hotel brands appearing together at the franchise exhibition seem to signal the start of the next round of "land grabbing" in the economic hotel industry.
"Beauty Economy" has broad prospects
With China's economic growth and consumption upgrade, the "beauty economy," mainly targeting women and composed of industries such as beauty, body care, cosmetics, and clothing, is becoming increasingly prosperous. Loving beauty is a woman's nature, and combined with women's impulsive consumption characteristics, industries like beauty, cosmetics, and clothing are less affected by overall economic fluctuations and easily cultivate a loyal customer base. In the current weak economic environment, investing in these industries appears more stable. At this exhibition, brands related to female consumption include adidas, G2000, National Impression, Xinghuo Footwear, Daheiwu, Zhaxidele, Youbeishi, Geshima, Xinshengji, Kyoto Vivi, Yanliang Tiliang, and Clitina, among more than ten others.
Children's education industry franchising continues to heat up
The "2012 China Franchise Investment Climate Survey" released by the China Chain Store & Franchise Association shows that children's education and training have been unanimously ranked by franchise headquarters, franchisees, and experts as the most promising and highest return on investment industry for four consecutive years; infant and toddler product retail is also regarded by both franchisors and franchisees as a potential and valuable investment sector. Education brands participating in this exhibition include Honghuanglan, Oriental Baby, Only, Digital Wisdom, Story Castle, Global IELTS, Qicheng Subject English, Happy Jungle, and more than ten others.
High-quality home furnishing brands have huge development potential
Fashionable, healthy, and high-quality home furnishing brands attract much attention at this exhibition, including the globally renowned American home goods brand Tupperware, South Korea's high-end plastic home goods provider Lock&Lock, the rising fashionable home decor brand ±2℃, high-quality home goods brand Suiyiju, and eco-friendly children's furniture brand Kumanju. These brands provide high-quality home goods for urban people pursuing a high-quality life and open a blue ocean market for franchisees to operate high-quality home goods.
Leisure drinks and specialty snacks: small business with a big future
Leisure drinks and specialty snack brands are favored by small and medium investors due to their low investment and quick return characteristics. Fashionable and novel young consumers create a broad market space for leisure drinks and specialty snacks, especially students who are the main consumers of these products. Opening a leisure drink shop or specialty snack shop near schools or in commercial areas where young people gather is the first choice for small investments. Brands participating in this exhibition in the leisure drinks and specialty snacks category include Pengpengliang, Keli'ai, CoCo Tea, Hongkong567, Ganchadu, Mango, Milk Bear, Vigor Tribe, Crazy Fries, Liangquanjimei, Buddy Chicken Chop, No.1 Best, Daily Fresh, NEW YORK FRIES, Magic Chicken Chop, Doufuguan, and more than twenty others.
