The 8th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition Tianjin Division Selection and the 6th Tianjin Laundry and Dyeing Industry "Shagen Cup" Vocational Skills Competition were held on July 9, 2013, at Jin Hao Laundry Development Co., Ltd., No. 180 Xindalu, Hebei District, Tianjin. More than 150 participants and observers attended the event, including leaders of the Tianjin Laundry Industry Association, industry experts, competitors, and representatives of laundry and dyeing enterprises.
This skills competition presented five major characteristics: First, the event received attention and support from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, which designated this industry competition as a national second-class competition. Second, it was highly valued and supported by the Municipal Commerce Commission, the Municipal Commercial Federation, and relevant departments and leaders. Third, the competition provided a platform for outstanding technical talents in the industry to emerge. For excellent competitors in the competition projects, the association awarded "Outstanding Technical Expert" certificates and "Laundry Industry Vocational Certificates." Fourth, the five competition projects and their levels represent the service standards of our city's laundry industry to society. Fifth, experts provided on-site consultation, demonstration operations, and focused evaluations, conducting targeted professional technical training and technical exchanges, which promoted the overall quality improvement of the industry.
The finalists of this competition were full of fighting spirit and expressed their determination to strive for good results in the "8th National Competition," to bring honor to the industry and to Tianjin City.
