Launch Meeting of the Expert Assistance Mechanism for Consumer Complaints in Laundry and Dyeing Services in Beijing Held

The Launch Conference of the Beijing Laundry Industry Standards and Laundry Service Consumer Complaint Expert Assistance Mechanism was held this afternoon at the Beijing Administration for Industry and Commerce. Huang Xiaowen, Deputy Director of the Beijing Administration for Industry and Commerce; Zhang Caifei, Director of the Grassroots Department of the Judicial Bureau; Lu Yuan, Director of the Consumer Protection Department of the Administration for Industry and Commerce; Ren Yana, Director of the 12315 Center of the Administration for Industry and Commerce; Zhang Bingci, Deputy Director of the Service Trade Department of the Commerce Commission; Qu Jianhui, Deputy Secretary-General of the Consumer Association; Wang Xueren, President of the Beijing Laundry Industry Association; and representatives from many enterprises within the industry attended the meeting.
At the meeting, President Wang read out the Integrity Management Initiative of the Beijing Laundry Industry Association. Leaders from the Administration for Industry and Commerce awarded plaques to the People's Mediation Committee of the Laundry Industry. Chen Tao, Deputy Manager of Beijing Funait Laundry Service Co., Ltd., spoke on behalf of laundry enterprises. Leaders from the Beijing Judicial Bureau issued appointment letters to experts participating in consumer complaint handling.
This meeting mainly addressed the prominent issues currently existing in the laundry industry. It aimed to further regulate the business conduct of the laundry industry, effectively protect consumers' legitimate rights and interests, and promote laundry enterprises to operate with integrity in laundry services and business practices.
