Deputy Director Wang Desheng of the Circulation Development Department of the Ministry of Commerce, Vice President Wang Min of the CGCC, Director Liang Zhaoshan of the Service Trade Department of the Ministry of Commerce, and Deputy Director Dong Bo of the Circulation Development Department of the Ministry of Commerce delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. Deputy Director Wang Desheng specifically deployed key tasks regarding the Ministry of Commerce's focus on the weak links in current standard formulation and made several suggestions for the work of technical committees and professional associations. To address the weak links in circulation standardization construction, the Ministry of Commerce, together with relevant parties, has carried out a series of tasks: first, formulating development plans; second, improving the standardization and legalization of work; third, establishing long-term working mechanisms; fourth, intensifying the revision of standards, especially the first batch of 242 industry standards formulation plans launched this year, which are currently being organized and implemented; fifth, strengthening the promotion and implementation of standards. Over the past year, relevant industry associations and standardization organizations have successively carried out 28 standard promotion activities. In this regard, the establishment of the Laundry Label Committee and the implementation of its work are important measures for the implementation of laundry industry standards. Regarding suggestions for the work of technical committees and associations, Deputy Director Wang Desheng put forward the following requirements: (1) High positioning. The work of technical committees is a highly public welfare undertaking, which requires us to maintain a high stance in undertaking and organizing the revision of national and industry standards; (2) Emphasis on coordination. From the analysis of the concept of standards, it is clear that coordination is the fundamental attribute of standards, so the concept of "coordination" must be integrated throughout the formulation and revision of standards; (3) Openness and transparency. To ensure fairness and justice, enhance and ensure the credibility of standards, and reflect the scientific, reasonable, and effective nature of standards, the principle of openness and transparency must be jointly observed by relevant parties after standards are issued; (4) Emphasis on text quality. Each technical committee and association must strictly follow the "Standardization Management Measures in the Business Field" and the requirements of National Standard 1.1, strengthen the study of relevant normative documents, and improve the quality of standard writing.
Director Liang Zhaoshan also provided the following guidance on standardization construction work: 1. Accelerate the establishment and improvement of the service industry standard system; 2. Strengthen the formulation and implementation of standards in key industries; 3. Deeply carry out various activities to cooperate with the implementation of standards, especially the quality service activities conducted in 2012; 4. Strengthen the construction of the professional title system for standard work.

This training was mainly conducted by Director Wang Changlin of the National Standard Technical Review Department, who gave detailed explanations on standard writing and related requirements, as well as standard writing requirements based on international standards. During the training, Director Wang Changlin patiently explained various detailed issues of standard formulation to the trainees using simplified language and vivid examples, and interacted with the trainees on individual issues, which greatly benefited everyone and played an important role in the future development of industry work.
