The sun shines brightly and the gentle breeze plays as the golden snake dances gracefully; the people are strong and the country prosperous, looking far ahead as the steed soars. The 2013 New Year Gathering of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee is scheduled to be held on January 11, 2013, at the Haitang Hall of the Beijing Xixi Friendship Hotel.
Wang Shuyuan, Director of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee; Pan Wei, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General; Executive Deputy Directors Shu Qi and Wang Houzeng; Wen Lisheng, Director of the Expert Committee; former Executive Deputy Director Li Qingshan; Deputy Directors Wang Xueran, Zhang Rongyao, Zhu Lijun, Pu Jinyong, Guo Jidong, Xin Yubo, and other leaders and experts in Beijing including Qi Datong, Wu Jingmiao, Li Guangze, Wu Ruizhang, Wang Chaoyi, Jia Runze, Nie Denglin, Wang Shusen, Jiang Xiling, Pan Fuzeng, Xu Gendi, Liu Yongxin, Ma Xiangliang, Yu Geli, Yu Tao, Ren Shucheng, Yin Xiaojun, Zhang Zhongbang, Xu Fajiang, Ji Chengjun, Shi Changhong, Yin Shuxiang; Wang Dan, Secretary-General of the Laundry Machinery Branch of the China Light Industry Machinery Association; Gao Yunli, Secretary-General of the Beijing Laundry and Dyeing Association; Wang Jidong, Secretary-General of the Dalian Laundry and Dyeing Association; enterprise leaders Zhou Jie, Zu Xueqian, Zheng Ming; experts; and more than fifty staff members of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee attended this gathering. This grand reunion of laundry and dyeing professionals in Beijing celebrates the approaching Year of the Snake and welcomes another spring for the industry.
The gathering opened in a peaceful atmosphere with Wang Shuyuan, Director of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce, delivering a New Year's speech. She wished prosperity for the businesses of all the attending executives, blessings for better development of the laundry and dyeing industry in the new year, and expressed gratitude for the support from all laundry and dyeing professionals to the association. All members of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee also extended their New Year wishes to the colleagues present, hoping everyone has good luck and smooth success in the Year of the Snake.
At the gathering, guests took turns to showcase their talents, displaying calligraphy, literary skills, and singing; staff organized innovative small games on site; leaders present awarded lucky prizes during program intervals, creating a joyful atmosphere. Finally, the gathering concluded successfully with Secretary-General Pan Wei's congratulatory speech and a performance of "Unforgettable Tonight" by all members of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee.

The Laundry and Dyeing Committee's New Year Gathering has been held consecutively for eight years and has become a tradition in the laundry and dyeing industry. Every year at the turn of the old and new, this grand event for industry leaders in Beijing provides a platform to meet new friends and greet old ones. Experts gather here to share fine wine and look forward to a bright future. It is also hoped that in the coming years, everyone will have the opportunity to celebrate the arrival of the new year together.
