After four years, the 2nd China International Laundry Festival returns to Beijing amid eager anticipation from domestic and international laundry industry professionals, scheduled for August 6 to 10. The event's theme is "Gathering the latest concepts and technologies from the global laundry industry to make our homeland's sky bluer, water cleaner, and clothes cleaner!" It comprehensively promotes the concepts of energy saving, consumption reduction, green environmental protection, and healthy washing. It has received guidance and support from the Service Trade Department of the Ministry of Commerce of China and the China General Chamber of Commerce, jointly organized by the Laundry Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce and Guangdong Xinzhilian Exhibition Company, with active participation and promotion from the National Laundry Standardization Technical Committee and 43 provincial/municipal local laundry industry associations across the country. The International Textile Care Council, International Drycleaning Association, and laundry industry organizations from the UK, USA, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and other countries and regions have also given strong support.
This International Laundry Festival consists of five major series of activities, including: 1. The 14th China International Laundry Industry Exhibition 2013; 2. The 8th National Laundry Industry Vocational Skills Competition; 3. The 3rd International Laundry Industry Summit Forum; 4. The 2013 China Laundry Industry Leaders Summit; 5. International Laundry Industry Business Negotiation Activities.
At 9:00 AM on August 6, the International Laundry Festival will grandly open at the National Convention Center, with hundreds of specially invited guests and industry representatives from many countries and regions around the world attending the opening ceremony. Following the opening ceremony, the festival's first event, the "3rd International Laundry Industry Summit Forum," will be held. Renowned experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs from the global laundry industry will discuss and share insights on the current status and trends of laundry industry development in various countries, government planning and related policies, industry management and market environment, technological innovation, and application promotion. It will be a rare feast of intellectual exchange and collision of wisdom.
Next, the festival's highlight, the "14th China International Laundry Industry Exhibition," will be spectacularly showcased from August 8 to 10 at the China International Exhibition Center. After more than a decade of careful cultivation, this exhibition has become the most influential and important business exchange platform in China's laundry industry. Here, visitors can not only appreciate the elegance of well-known enterprises from around the world, learn about the most advanced washing technologies and latest products domestically and internationally, and grasp global laundry industry development trends, but also learn and communicate with domestic and foreign washing experts and senior executives of famous companies. Building on the historic best results of the previous exhibition, this edition is expected to present an even more splendid and colorful picture.
The "8th National Laundry Industry Vocational Skills Competition Finals" will also be held from August 8 to 10 at the China International Exhibition Center alongside the exhibition. As the most grand and authoritative vocational skills competition in China's laundry industry, it plays an important role in improving the professional skills and overall quality of industry practitioners, strengthening industry exchanges, and promoting healthy industry development. This competition includes six major events: front desk service, stain removal, leather garment maintenance, leather care, garment ironing, and clothing mending. Through multiple rounds of selection in provincial and municipal divisions nationwide, outstanding competitors are recommended to participate in the fierce finals. It will undoubtedly become a focal point for industry insiders.
The "China Laundry Industry Leaders Summit" held on the afternoon of August 10 is the highest-level leadership salon in China's laundry industry, focusing on discussions about the development of China's laundry industry. It aims to gather the thoughts and concerns of practitioners, offer advice and suggestions for government departments to formulate industry development strategies, and jointly discuss major industry development issues.
The "International Laundry Industry Business Negotiation Activities" will run throughout the festival. During the entire event, various related associations, groups, and enterprises will carry out various forms of exchange and negotiation activities based on the concept of win-win cooperation, negotiating cooperation, exchanging experiences, discussing technologies, and seeking common development with famous figures in the domestic and foreign laundry industry.
