Kunming Technical Exchange Event Successfully Held

Hosted by the China Commercial Federation Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee, and organized by Kunming Tiantian Laundry Co., Ltd. and Kunming Laundry Chamber of Commerce, the "2013 (Kunming) National Laundry Technology Exchange Seminar and Public Textile Office Establishment Conference" was successfully held from May 29 to 31. Pan Wei, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the China Commercial Federation Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee, Executive Deputy Directors Shu Qi and Wang Houzeng, Deputy Directors Dai Jie, Ren Fengmei, Guo Jidong, Ping Ju, Zheng Yunfeng, Deputy Secretary-Generals Xue Dapeng, Yang Ze, Wang Jidong, and more than 300 laundry industry professionals from nearly twenty provinces and cities nationwide and Japan attended the meeting. Yu Dingcheng, Vice Chairman of the Yunnan Provincial Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, Hong Ying, Deputy Director of Kunming Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Cai Yongfu, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of Kunming Municipal Committee and Party Secretary of the Federation of Industry and Commerce, and other relevant department leaders also attended the first day of the Public Textile Office establishment conference.
On the afternoon of the 29th, the first director meeting of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee's Public Textile Laundry Office was held, attended by more than twenty directors from across the country. The meeting discussed the working regulations of the Public Textile Office and held discussions on issues related to public textile laundry and the next steps for the office's work.

The conference officially began on the morning of the 30th. First, the establishment conference of the Public Textile Laundry Office was held. At the meeting, Pan Wei delivered a speech on the positioning and future tasks of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee's Public Textile Laundry Office, and jointly unveiled the office plaque with Vice Chairman Yu Dingcheng. Wang Houzeng, on behalf of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee, read out the appointment decision for the leadership of the Public Textile Office: appointing Guo Jidong as Executive Deputy Director; Deputy Directors Ju Weihong, Zheng Yongxiang, Dai Heping, Li Jiemei, Zhan Yaping, Qian Zhigen, Wu Shixin, Gong Yan, Pu Jinyong, Shen Yongliang, Pan Fuzeng, Sun Weipeng, Chen Shirong, Yuan Mingdong, Zhang Riliang, Liu Jiliang, Zhang Jing, and Zhang Weiwen as Deputy Directors; appointing Wang Chaoyi as Secretary-General; with Pan Wei concurrently serving as Director. Appointment letters were then issued to them, and Guo Jidong, representing the appointed Deputy Directors, spoke at the meeting. The establishment conference was hosted by Zhan Yaping, President of the Kunming Laundry Chamber of Commerce.

The seminar officially began at 10:30. First, Pan Wei gave a keynote speech titled "Several Understandings on China's Public Textile Laundry." Subsequently, experts and enterprise representatives including Shu Qi, Yuan Zhaohang, Yin Tao, Wang Chaoyi, Cai Zhongping, Yuan Mingdong, and Zheng Yongxiang delivered speeches on topics such as "Causes and Solutions for Yellowing and Graying of Linen," "Application of RFID Technology in Public Textiles," "Active Development or Passive Reform—Modern Laundry Technology in China," "Laundry Process Flow of Modern Large-scale Laundry Factories," "High Efficiency and Energy Saving," "Laundry Room Efficiency Issues," and "Medical Textile Laundry Industry and Countermeasures."
During the guest dialogue session, Chen Hong, Chairman of Sea Lion Group; Pu Jinyong, Chairman of Innovation Ancient Road; Wu Congxun, Deputy General Manager of Shenguang Group; and Zhang Jing, Assistant Executive Housekeeper of Beijing Kempinski, interacted with attendees as dialogue guests, engaging in lively discussions on topics including public textile leasing, energy-efficient laundry equipment, and laundry factory management.
The meeting also organized a visit and study tour to Kunming Tiantian Laundry Factory. Their clean and standardized workshops, informatized and automated equipment, orderly management, and enterprising corporate culture left a deep impression on the visitors.
Following the Laundry and Dyeing Committee's tradition of organizing large exchange meetings, the conference also held a "Laundry Family" networking dinner, featuring invited professional art troupes performing wonderful song and dance shows. During the dinner, everyone spoke freely in a lively atmosphere. The organizers also specially arranged tea art performances and sightseeing tours for attendees, providing multiple opportunities for communication and exchange.
Through this conference, participants unanimously agreed that the event was rich and substantial, accurately positioned, and provided an excellent platform for learning new technologies, updating ideas, strengthening peer communication, and seeking cooperation opportunities. The meticulous arrangements and thoughtful services by the organizers especially moved the attendees. The standardized development of the industry requires correct and objective guidance, and the progress of the industry needs the joint efforts of peers. It is hoped that the Laundry and Dyeing Committee will provide more diverse nationwide peer exchange and communication opportunities.
