The second National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association Joint Meeting, hosted by the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce and organized by the Qingdao Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association and Qingdao Jieshen Laundry Co., Ltd., successfully concluded on December 10. Nearly 50 local laundry and dyeing industry association leaders from Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Sichuan, Guangdong, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Xinjiang, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Gansu, Taiwan, Guangzhou, Dalian, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Taiyuan, Nanyang, Xingtai, and other regions attended the meeting. Liang Zhaoshan, Investigator from the Ministry of Commerce of China; Wang Zhigang and Director Chen Youtao from Qingdao Commerce Bureau; Pan Wei, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce; and Sun Shanjia, Vice Chairman of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee and Honorary President of the Qingdao Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Wang Houzeng, Executive Deputy Director of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce.

The meeting began with a passionate speech by Director Wang Zhigang, followed by Chairman Sun Shanjia warmly welcoming the leaders of the local associations attending the meeting. He stated that holding the National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association Joint Meeting in Qingdao fully reflects the attention and support of relevant national departments to Qingdao. He hopes that the Ministry of Commerce and the Laundry and Dyeing Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce will bring more industry activities to Qingdao to promote the rapid development of Qingdao's laundry and dyeing industry, and wished the meeting a complete success.
At the meeting, Investigator Liang Zhaoshan from the Ministry of Commerce delivered a speech. He said that 2012 was a year of steady development for the laundry and dyeing industry. Over the past year, the standardization and normalization of the laundry and dyeing industry have steadily progressed. In the "National Laundry Industry Advantage Service Activities," outstanding results were achieved, and a group of high-quality enterprises were selected. The laundry and dyeing industry should continue to strengthen its foundational construction, improve the legal and regulatory standards system and statistical system, and enhance industry management to safeguard the development of the laundry and dyeing industry.

At the meeting, Secretary-General Pan Wei summarized and reviewed the work of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee in 2012 and reported on the key points of work for 2013. In 2013, the Laundry and Dyeing Committee will further promote the construction of the industry standard system, strengthen training and exchanges, conduct basic research, hold the "Second China International Laundry and Dyeing Festival," improve the information platform to enhance the timeliness and coverage of information, and strengthen the association's own construction. It will also enhance member service capabilities to better serve enterprises and further promote the healthy development of the industry.

Subsequently, the Shanghai Laundry Industry Association, Dalian Laundry Industry Association, Qingdao Laundry Industry Association, Sichuan Laundry Industry Association, Guangzhou Laundry Industry Association, and Beijing Laundry Industry Association exchanged their specific development experiences with the participants. At the end of the meeting, everyone freely discussed the "National Laundry Service Dispute Resolution Measures (Draft for Discussion)" and the charter and working procedures of the National Laundry Service Quality Appraisal Committee. They exchanged views on the causes of disputes, common problems encountered during handling, and experiences in mediating disputes.

After the meeting, participants held a Laundry Family Fellowship Dinner, gathering happily to communicate and discuss how to promote the healthy development of the laundry and dyeing industry. The meeting also arranged activities such as a tour of the Laoshan Scenic Area.
