2013 National Luxury Leather Care Technology Exchange Conference Held in Dalian in June

As China has become the world's largest consumer of luxury goods, it has also brought new income growth points to China's luxury goods care profession in the laundry and dyeing industry. Correspondingly, related maintenance accidents have been increasing. Therefore, the "2013 National (Dalian) Luxury Leather Care Technology Exchange Conference" hosted by the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce and organized by the Dalian Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association is scheduled to be held from June 4 to 6. Concurrently, the national vocational qualification assessment for leather care workers will be conducted.

1. Application of leather processing technology in leather clothing care

How to quickly improve leather clothing care skills and common misconceptions; rapid softening technology for leather clothing and common accident treatments. (Presented by Mr. Zhi Hao from Dalian Youbang Laundry Co., Ltd.)

2. Operation of luxury clothing and leather care

Current status of China's luxury goods market; what is luxury goods; business opportunities in the luxury clothing and leather fine cleaning and care market. (Presented by Mr. Lin Jun from Shanghai Kabo Laundry Co., Ltd.)

3. Site selection, decoration layout of high-end luxury leather care stores and targeting high-end customers; latest leather fashion trends; analysis of classic cases of difficult and accident leather treatment (Presented by Mr. Yu Jinshan, General Manager of Beijing Jiebao Leather Chemical Co., Ltd.).

4. On-site cooperative demonstration: rapid color matching technology using Italian color scanner; metal accessory wear and gold plating technology; metal accessory cleaning and care technology. (Demonstrated by Hao Jianfeng)

5. Luxury luggage - oil wax leather care process (Presented by Ms. Bao Licong from Wenzhou Phinnis Leather Chemical Co., Ltd.).

6. Cleaning and care process of luxury leather shoes and leather goods (Presented by Mr. Yu Geli, Technical Director of Hanhuang Weiye).

7. On-site joint Q&A: luxury care technicians with frontline work experience will answer questions on site.

8. Networking dinner - Opportunities - Improvement. (There will be a lottery event with generous prizes on the evenings of the 5th and 6th.)

Notice on the National Occupational Qualification Assessment for Leather Care Workers

The national occupational qualification assessment for "Leather Care Workers" will be held during the "2013 National (Dalian) Luxury Leather Care Technology Exchange and Demonstration Conference" from June 4 to 6. The details are as follows:

1. Participants

Persons engaged or preparing to engage in leather care-related work who intend to obtain the national occupational qualification certificate for leather care workers issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security by participating in the primary and intermediate level qualification assessments.

2. Application Conditions

Applicants must apply for the corresponding level according to their personal conditions. The specific application conditions are as follows:

1. Primary Level (meeting one of the following conditions)

(1) Completed the required hours of formal primary vocational training in this profession and obtained a completion certificate.
(2) Have worked continuously as an intern in this profession for more than 2 years.

(3) Completed the apprenticeship period in this profession.

2. Intermediate Level (meeting one of the following conditions)

(1) After obtaining the primary vocational qualification certificate, have worked continuously in this profession for more than 3 years, completed the required hours of formal intermediate vocational training, and obtained a completion certificate.

(2) After obtaining the primary vocational qualification certificate, have worked continuously in this profession for more than 5 years.

(3) Have worked continuously in this profession for more than 7 years.

(4) Obtained a graduation certificate from a secondary or higher vocational school specializing in this profession (major) with intermediate skill training recognized by the human resources and social security administrative department.

3. Registration Method

1. Applicants for the assessment should fill out the "National Occupational Skill Appraisal Application Form" (Click to download) The electronic form should be submitted to the contact person's email at the Laundry and Dyeing Committee before May 20. On the registration day, submit a copy of your ID card and two personal 2-inch color photos.

2. On the registration day, collect exam materials and related documents (electronic review materials and practice questions can be downloaded from the "Download Center" on the "China Laundry" website 10 days before the exam).

4. Assessment Method

The assessment consists of a closed-book written test and a practical operation test. Both are scored out of 100 points, and a score of 60 or above in both is considered passing.

Candidates who meet the qualification requirements and pass the written test will be awarded the corresponding level of the "National Occupational Qualification" certificate for leather care workers.
