The first specialized vocational skill appraisal stations in the commercial industry have been established.

With the joint efforts of the China Commercial Federation's Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee and the Vocational Skills Appraisal Guidance Center, two commercial industry-specific vocational skill appraisal stations focused on the "Leather Care Worker" professional qualification appraisal were approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. They were respectively established at the Commercial Science and Technology Quality Center (a public institution under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council) and the Shanghai Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association. On March 31, the first work meeting of the China Commercial Federation's Leather Care Worker Appraisal Station was held in Shanghai. Attendees included Liu Yong, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Commercial Federation and Director of the Vocational Skills Appraisal Center; Wang Xiaobing, Director of the Comprehensive Department; Pan Wei, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee; Wang Houzeng, Executive Deputy Director; Dai Jie, President of the Shanghai Laundry and Dyeing Association; Li Jiamei, Vice President; Ren Fengmei, Deputy Secretary-General; Li Jinxuan, President of Shanghai Green Ring; Xin Yubo, President of Beijing Hanhuang Weiye; Ren Shucheng, Technical Director of Rongchang Yiersa; and other relevant association and enterprise leaders and appraisal station heads. 
In the morning, participants conducted an on-site acceptance inspection of the Shanghai Leather Care Worker Appraisal Station's appraisal base and observed a demonstration of the practical skills assessment for leather care workers. In the afternoon, the meeting mainly focused on discussing the current status and future development of the new leather care worker profession, during which the morning's practical assessment demonstration was fully affirmed. 
The practical assessment demonstration was highly praised, with hopes that future practical appraisal work will adhere to this standard and be conducted in a strictly regulated manner. At the meeting, everyone engaged in careful and detailed discussions about the specific appraisal work processes and the operation and management of the appraisal stations. Director Liu Yong emphasized the important role of vocational skills appraisal work in his speech, stating that appraisal work not only tests the industry's training efforts but also plays a positive guiding role in industry development. He hopes that future appraisal work will adhere to scientific and standardized appraisal processes and ensure appraisal quality, thereby actively promoting the development of national vocational qualifications. Pan Wei and Dai Jie, as heads of the Beijing and Shanghai Leather Care Appraisal Stations respectively, spoke about the future work of the appraisal stations, unanimously expressing their commitment to performing the leather care worker appraisal work well and in a standardized manner, earnestly implementing the station head responsibility system, clarifying responsibilities, and managing dynamically, thus setting a benchmark and demonstration role for the future expansion of related appraisal station functions in the laundry and dyeing industry. Other relevant association and enterprise leaders attending also shared their suggestions.

At the end of the meeting, Director Liu Yong and Station Head Dai Jie unveiled the plaque for the Shanghai Leather Care Worker Appraisal Station. Everyone felt genuinely happy about the formal establishment of this specialized institution, one of the first in the laundry and dyeing industry to engage in national vocational skills appraisal, and felt gratified that this marked the laundry and dyeing industry's move toward professional and standardized development.
