The 6th Council Meeting and Networking Event of the First Session of the Dalian Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association Held

The 6th meeting of the 1st session and the networking event of the Dalian Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association were held on January 23 at the Donggang Centennial City Memory Hotel. All council members attended, and member representatives and industry representatives were invited, with more than 70 people participating in the meeting.
Wang Jidong, Secretary-General of the Dalian Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association, presided over the 6th council meeting of the 1st session. President Xu Manli was unable to attend due to illness and entrusted Vice President Ma Yuejun to perform the president's duties. The council meeting began with Deputy Secretary Liu Shuang extending New Year greetings to all industry personnel, followed by Secretary Yuan presenting the association's 2012 financial revenue and expenditure report. Vice President Ma Yuejun gave a summary of the association's work in 2012, reporting on the year's activities from various perspectives. The association achieved fruitful results in 2012. Secretary-General Wang Jidong presented the 2013 work plan and stated that achievements affirm the past, and hopes for the future give us more motivation to move forward. Under the leadership of the Laundry Professional Committee of the China Commercial Federation, the association will do well in the new year's work. As long as we work together, our industry will surely thrive.

After the intense and serious meeting, the atmosphere relaxed slightly and moved into the enthusiastic 2012 Dalian Laundry Industry Awards Ceremony. First was the plaque presentation ceremony welcoming new members: Meinisi Laundry Huide Dongyuan Store, Louis Laundry, Leicester Leather Repair McCare Store, and Bolun Leather Repair Kaixuan Store joined the association as new members. Next, plaques were awarded to the third batch of standardized laundry stores; 14 laundry stores passed the third batch review and received the honor of standardized laundry stores. The 2012 national laundry industry award winners were also grandly recognized. At 73 years old, national laundry industry meritorious figure Yu Juntang gave an acceptance speech, thanking the association for the recommendation that earned him this unforgettable highest honor. He said as long as he can work, he will continue in this industry. 
The 2012 Dalian Laundry Industry Commendation Event has always attracted much attention, and the awards and winners have finally emerged. Group awards: 8 units including Dama Washing Co., Ltd. received the "Outstanding Member Unit" honor; 3 units including Zhuanghe Daguangming received the "Outstanding Team Award"; 3 units including Youbang Laundry received the "Technological Innovation Award"; 3 units including Meinisi Laundry received the "Industry Excellent Brand Award"; 4 units including Cupid Washing Technology received the "Outstanding Member Service Unit Award." Individual awards: 3 people including Xing Zhenxin received the title of "Technical Model"; 9 people including Zheng Zhaoming received the title of "Service Model"; 5 people including Zhang Pengyu received the title of "Gold Medal Store Manager"; Xu Yanmei, Yu Yinglian, and Liu Shuang received the "Outstanding Contribution Award" in the laundry industry. The vice president, executive director, and directors of the Dalian Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association presented plaques and certificates to the awarded units and individuals, and specially invited Mr. Ma Yongqiang, chairman of Dalian Dama Washing, to present awards to the three recipients of the "Outstanding Contribution Award." 
Industry outstanding practitioners who received commendations
This awards event is the first large-scale commendation event since the establishment of the Dalian Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association. The awards event received support from many industry personnel. Among the participating units and individuals, we selected the above-awarded groups and individuals based on application criteria. The awards affirm and support laundry industry practitioners. The awards event is held to recognize industry excellence and promote industry progress. The honors showcase the image of Dalian laundry industry practitioners and enhance the reputation of outstanding enterprises. It is hoped that in the new year, under the leadership of these industry elites and representatives, the overall appearance of Dalian's laundry industry will have new changes.
