Washing Method
A fully enclosed variable frequency dry cleaning machine with refrigeration can be used for washing. First, add 100ml OFAL-300 leather dry cleaning agent and 50ml soap oil, mix evenly, then lower the solution temperature to 10-12°C. Wash for 3-5 minutes, use variable frequency spin drying, and dry (temperature controlled within 45°C). After drying, spray DC4352 restorer. Using a petroleum dry cleaning machine yields better results for fur.
Care and Storage
Due to the special composition of the fur's leather and hair layers, storage should differ from other garments. In general, storing fur clothing requires ventilation and dryness. This is because the leather and hair layers of fur are fibers mainly composed of protein; in humid conditions, the leather easily molds and rots, and the hair is prone to insect damage.
When hanging fur clothing in the wardrobe, do not squeeze it; leave enough space to avoid crushing the fur surface. Never cover fur clothing with plastic or polyethylene bags, as they hinder air circulation and cause the leather to dry out. It is best to place paper-wrapped mothballs inside the clothes and store them folded in a dry wardrobe without heavy objects on top. Before the rainy season, it is advisable to take out the clothes to air and ventilate them to prevent mold and insect damage.
