Washing Instructions
It is recommended to dry clean wool sweaters first to avoid prolonged friction with hard objects, coarse fabrics, synthetic fibers, etc., prevent contact with corrosive substances, and avoid pulling or vigorous movements to prevent stretching, holes, or pilling. Wool sweaters can also be washed with water as follows:
1. Keep the water temperature between 30 and 40 ℃, soak for about 5 minutes during washing, gently knead and press, do not rub or wring forcefully, and do not use a washing machine to avoid excessive fuzz, pilling, or felting.
2. After washing, squeeze dry by hand or spin dry in a washing machine inside a mesh bag or lay flat to dry in the shade; do not hang to dry to avoid deformation. After drying, iron with a steam iron at 120 to 140 ℃. Mild pilling may occur when first worn and can be gently trimmed with scissors; avoid pulling by hand to prevent fiber damage, holes, or unraveling.
Methods to Prevent Wool Garment Shrinkage
Water temperature should be around 35 ℃, use high-quality neutral detergent, do not use too little detergent as it will not clean well and may cause shrinkage. The ratio of water to detergent is 3:1. Do not use a washing machine. After washing, press with a dry cloth and lay flat on a surface.
Storage and Organization
1. Fold neatly, place in bags, and lay flat; avoid hanging.
2. Store in a dark, ventilated, and dry place to avoid deformation from hanging; do not mix with other types of products in the same bag; pay attention to moth prevention and avoid direct contact with moth repellents.
