Cleaning
1. First, use a soft cotton cloth to wipe off the dust on the surface of the shoes, then use a bristle brush to thoroughly clean the dust in the leather pores, and finally use a cotton ball to apply shoe polish in a circular motion. This helps to fully smooth out the wrinkles on the shoe surface.
2. Caring for suede shoes can be a bit troublesome; it's more convenient to take them to a professional care shop. If you do it yourself, after cleaning with a cotton cloth, you can use a stiff brush or fine sandpaper on areas with heavy shedding to raise the nap, and don't forget to spray some color restorer at the end.
3. When maintaining shoes, remember to clean the heels and soles. You can use disposable disinfectant wet wipes instead of shoe cloths for cleanliness and hygiene.
Storage
1. After completing the normal cleaning and maintenance of the shoes, be sure to place them in a cool, ventilated area to air dry before putting them back into the shoe box. Of course, it's best if you can also place a small packet of desiccant inside.
2. Remember to stuff soft paper inside the shoes to maintain their shape, especially for boots. You can roll up newspapers to support the boot shafts.
