Classification of Laundry Detergent Powder
Laundry Detergent Powder It is a type of synthetic detergent and an essential household item. Currently, there are three main categories of laundry detergent powder on the market, each with its own characteristics:
1. Regular Laundry Detergent Powder and Concentrated Laundry Detergent Powder
Regular laundry detergent powder has large, loose granules that dissolve quickly and produce relatively rich foam, but its stain removal power is relatively weak and it is not easy to rinse, generally suitable for hand washing; concentrated laundry detergent powder has small, dense granules, produces less foam, but has strong stain removal power (at least twice that of regular detergent powder), is easy to rinse, saves water, and is generally suitable for machine washing.
2. Phosphorus-containing Laundry Detergent Powder and Phosphorus-free Laundry Detergent Powder
Phosphorus-containing laundry detergent powder uses phosphates as the main additives, but phosphorus can cause eutrophication of water bodies, thereby damaging water quality and polluting the environment. Phosphorus-free laundry detergent powder does not have this drawback and is beneficial for protecting aquatic environments. For the health of our living environment, it is recommended to use phosphorus-free laundry detergent powder.
3. Enzyme-added Laundry Detergent Powder and Fragrance-added Laundry Detergent Powder
Enzyme-added laundry detergent powder contains enzymes, while fragrance-added laundry detergent powder contains fragrances. Enzyme-added detergent powder has special functions for removing specific stains (such as fruit juice, ink, blood, milk, meat juice, milk, soy sauce stains, etc.), and some specific enzymes can also have antibacterial, whitening, color protection, and brightening effects. Fragrance-added detergent powder not only meets cleaning needs but also makes clothes emit a pleasant fragrance, making people feel more comfortable.
Correct Usage of Laundry Detergent Powder
Proper use of laundry detergent powder can enhance its effectiveness, maximize its function, and save water. Before use, check the packaging to understand the type of detergent powder and follow the instructions on the package for correct use. Generally, the detergent powder should first be dissolved in warm water. Then soak the wet clothes in it; after 15 to 20 minutes, the washing effect is optimal. It is especially important that the water temperature for enzyme-added detergent powder should not exceed 60°C, otherwise the enzymes will become inactive, affecting the washing effect.
Storage of Laundry Detergent Powder
When storing laundry detergent powder, pay attention to moisture and sun protection. It should be placed in a cool, dry place, especially enzyme-added and fragrance-added detergent powders, as high temperatures can cause fragrance evaporation and enzyme deactivation.
