Notice on Applying for the 2019 "China Commercial Federation Science and Technology Award"

To all committee units, local laundry and dyeing industry associations, related enterprises in the laundry and dyeing industry, practitioners in the laundry and dyeing industry, and all relevant units:

The "China Commercial Federation Science and Technology Award" is an award approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Science and Technology Awards Office, with a sub-award called the "National Commercial Science and Technology Progress Award." This award aims to recognize units and individuals who have made outstanding contributions in scientific research, technological innovation, achievement promotion, and high-tech industrialization in the national commerce and trade service industry, thereby promoting technological progress in the industry. To properly carry out the recommendation and application work for the 2019 Laundry and Dyeing Industry "China Commercial Federation Science and Technology Award," the relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. Award Setup and Certificate Issuance

1. Award Levels: Special Prize (for significant technological innovation effects, huge social impact, and considerable economic benefits), First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize.

The China Commercial Federation, as the recommending unit for the National Science and Technology Award, annually selects outstanding projects from those awarded the National Commercial Science and Technology Progress Award Special Prize and others to recommend for the National Science and Technology Award review.

2. The main completing units and main contributors of the awarded projects will be issued corresponding award certificates by the China Commercial Federation.

2. Application Content

Any innovative technology, product, process, material and design achievement, high-tech industrialization achievement, innovative system and management achievement, social welfare platform network construction achievement, soft science and paper achievement, norms, standards, popular science books and electronic publications, etc., can be applied for.

3. Review Scope

The professional review group disciplines include: crop genetics and breeding and horticulture, agronomy and agricultural engineering, forestry, animal husbandry, popular science, technical innovation by workers and farmers, independent innovation enterprises, light industry, textiles, chemical industry, machinery, electronics and scientific instruments, communications, computer and automatic control, civil engineering, standards and metrology, cultural and sports science and technology, environmental protection, climate change and environmental monitoring, traditional Chinese medicine, pharmaceuticals and biomedical engineering, advanced manufacturing and major equipment, safety production, circular economy and energy saving and emission reduction, modern service industry informatization, etc. The first-level and second/third-level disciplines are detailed in the "National Science and Technology Progress Award Professional Review Group Review Scope."

4. Restrictions on Project Contributors

The same person as the first contributor of a project can only apply for one project in the same year.

5. Application Material Requirements

1. Applying units and individuals should carefully fill out the "National Commercial Science and Technology Progress Award Recommendation Form" (Attachment 1) and the National Commercial Science and Technology Progress Award Recommendation Form Format Review Sheet (Attachment 2). The above application materials and the instructions for filling out the "National Commercial Science and Technology Progress Award Recommendation Form" can be downloaded from the China Commercial Federation website (www.chinalaundry.cn) or requested by phone from our association.

2. The recommendation form and attachment materials should be submitted in duplicate (printed or photocopied on A4 paper, one set must be stamped with the official seal as the original for filing), and an electronic version (including the main part and attachments, with the main part in Word document format) should be sent by email to chinalaundry@vip.163.com and kejijiangli@163.com respectively, or submitted on a CD; one paper copy of the National Commercial Science and Technology Progress Award Recommendation Form Format Review Sheet (Attachment 2) is required, no binding necessary.
