With the progress of science and technology and the development of the economy in our country, data has become important information affecting social development. The decision-making of national management departments increasingly depends on data across various industries, and the demand for data statistics continues to expand. To provide consumers, operators, and relevant national departments with timely and effective industry consulting services, the China Commercial Federation Laundry Professional Committee began a price information survey of the laundry industry in September 2018, and the survey work has recently concluded.
This survey collected and compiled laundry service and detergent prices from more than 20 provinces and cities in China, including Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Jilin, Liaoning, Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Sichuan, Qinghai, Xinjiang, Hainan, Ningxia, Jiangxi, and Shaanxi. The final results include price information on laundry services for household clothing and public textiles in some regions, as well as sales price information for detergent products. During the price information survey, strong support was received from some typical enterprises, local laundry industry associations, and industry experts, for which we express our sincere thanks. The prices for three categories of laundry services and product sales are now publicly disclosed.
1. Price Information for Household Clothing Laundry Services
Household clothing prices refer to the laundry prices for residents' clothing and daily necessities at laundromats. This disclosure includes prices from Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Hebei, Sichuan, Guangdong regions, and the national average. The prices are the standard listed prices at laundromat counters and do not include discounted prices or prices for premium cleaning, preservation cleaning, etc. 
2. Price Information for Public Textile Laundry Services
Public textile laundry prices generally refer to the laundry service prices for various textiles used by units such as hotels, guesthouses, and hospitals (e.g., bed sheets, quilt covers, pillowcases, bath towels, face towels, tablecloths, napkins, etc.). The prices surveyed reflect standardized batch washing prices for cotton textiles. This disclosure shows the national average price. 
3. Price Information for Laundry Chemicals
Price information for laundry chemicals refers to the daily sales prices of commonly used detergents and laundry auxiliaries involved in the laundry service industry. The prices of commonly used dry-cleaning chemicals and auxiliaries are now publicly disclosed.
