Notice on Organizing the Declaration of Sub-competition Areas and Participating Teams for the National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Competition

To the competent authorities of the laundry and dyeing industry in all provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government, local laundry and dyeing industry associations (chambers of commerce), all laundry and related enterprises, and all committee units:
The finals of the 10th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition (hereinafter referred to as the "Finals") will be held in September 2017 at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing. This competition is an important part of the 3rd China International Laundry Festival and the 2017 China Skills Competition—National Commercial Industry Vocational Skills Competition. It is a national-level Category II competition and the most authoritative vocational skills competition in the laundry and dyeing industry. To gather outstanding talents nationwide and showcase the highest technical level of the industry, the notice for organizing the sub-competitions of the 10th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition is as follows:
1. Basic conditions for organizing sub-competitions and participating teams
1. Local associations (chambers of commerce) (related units) that have organized or plan to organize regional laundry and dyeing industry vocational skills competitions between August 8, 2015, and August 25, 2017, and wish to participate in the national finals, may apply to be a sub-competition area of the 10th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition and apply to form teams (team formation conditions see Article 3) to participate in the finals.
2. Enterprises applying to be sub-competition areas need to be large national or regional chain enterprises and must be approved by the finals organizing committee. When large national chain enterprises organize sub-competitions and teams, they should not duplicate players organized by the local association (chamber of commerce) (team formation conditions see Article 3). If there is no local association or the association is unable to organize sub-competitions or teams, regional chain enterprises may independently apply to form sub-competitions and teams.
3. Teams with 5 or more players participating in the finals can be considered as the regional (enterprise) team. The finals organizing committee will no longer accept individual registrations from that region (enterprise).
2. Rights and interests of sub-competitions or participating teams
1. The competitions of regions (enterprises) applying to be sub-competitions can be named the 10th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition Preliminary, and the related participating teams can be named Participating Teams. The competition organizer may apply to obtain the theory review questions and practical scoring sheets of the finals.
2. Regions (enterprises) that have set up sub-competitions and organized participating teams will have the exclusive right to organize registrations for the finals in their region (enterprise).
3. Units intending to apply to become sub-competitions of the 10th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition and organize participating teams should fill out the "10th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition Sub-competition and Participating Team Registration Form" and fax it with an official seal to the finals organizing committee before June 5, 2017. The organizing committee will publish the contact information of the organizing institutions on China Laundry Network and the official WeChat platform of the China Laundry Committee based on the applications.
4. Regions (enterprises) applying to be sub-competitions or organize participating teams that have fewer than 5 registered participants before August 25, 2017, will not enjoy the exclusive right to organize registrations for the finals and may be organized by other units or the finals organizing committee on their behalf.
5. Regions that have not applied to be sub-competitions or organize participating teams may have work directly arranged by the finals organizing committee secretariat.
6. Organizing 8 or more players to participate in the finals of the 10th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition may be awarded the "Excellent Organization Award" honor.
3. About the finals organizing committee
1. The finals organizing committee will be jointly composed of leaders from associations (enterprises) applying to form sub-competitions and teams, the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce, the China General Chamber of Commerce Vocational Skills Appraisal and Guidance Center, and other units.
