"National Measures for Resolving Laundry Service Disputes" (Trial) Released

In recent years, the laundry and dyeing industry has developed rapidly, with expanded service areas and more detailed content. However, disputes arising from washing errors, poor communication, and service quality have also increased, becoming a problem troubling both laundry enterprises and consumers. To address this, the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce began drafting the "National Laundry Service Dispute Resolution Measures" in 2011. The aim is to provide clear rules and evidence-based procedures for handling laundry service disputes. After three years of soliciting opinions and multiple revisions based on practice, it was recently approved by the China General Chamber of Commerce and issued for trial implementation.
