Discovered stains around the buttons while ironing clothes

The dyes in buttons usually withstand dry cleaning without color change. However, during ironing, contact with moisture or steam can easily cause color bleeding. Typically, the stain color is similar to the button's color and always appears near the button. To prevent this, the materials of buttons or other decorations must have high color fastness during ironing. Sometimes, removing the button and using an egg white formula or mild bleaching to remove the transferred color can restore the original appearance. But be sure to perform a color fastness test before decolorizing, then the button can be reattached. Since such stains can be permanent, they may not be removable.
