Recently, the China General Chamber of Commerce issued the "Decision on Commending the Award-Winning Participants and Units of the 8th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition," commending the units and participants who performed outstandingly and achieved excellent results in the 8th competition. The full text is as follows:
Laundry and dyeing industry authorities of all provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government, local laundry and dyeing industry associations, laundry and related enterprises, and member units:
The 8th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition, hosted by the China General Chamber of Commerce and the China Employment Training Technical Instruction Center, organized by the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce, and co-organized by the National Laundry Standardization Technical Committee and local industry associations in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, etc., successfully concluded in August 2013 in Beijing.
This competition combined the characteristics of three professions: laundry workers, ironers, and leather care workers, setting six competition events: front desk service, stain removal, leather jacket maintenance, leather goods care, garment ironing, and clothing mending. Through fierce competition and fair, just, and open judging, 56 participants won the top ten, 96 participants received the honor of "National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Technical Expert," and 16 units received the Excellent Organization Award and Talent Training Contribution Award. Therefore, the China General Chamber of Commerce decided to commend the awarded units and individuals (see attachment for details).
It is hoped that the units and participants recognized in the competition will take the honor as a new starting point, study deeply, continue to improve service levels, fully utilize their advantages, and make positive contributions to the overall improvement of the technical level of the laundry and dyeing industry.
