Associations of local laundry and dyeing industries, related enterprises in the laundry and dyeing industry:
To implement the "Notice from the General Office of the Ministry of Commerce on Further Improving the Statistical Work of the Trade Circulation Industry" (Commerce Office Circulation Letter [2012] No. 30), and to meet the urgent need for basic information in industry development, entrusted by the Ministry of Commerce, the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce (hereinafter referred to as the "Laundry Committee") is responsible for the nationwide collection, summary, and analysis of basic data of the laundry industry and the preparation of the annual development report. To carry out this work more effectively, the following matters are hereby notified:
1. Work Objectives and Content
1. Statistical industry data. According to the requirements of the Ministry of Commerce notice, local associations shall communicate and cooperate with the commerce authorities of their respective provinces (cities) and autonomous regions, adopting a combination of typical enterprise surveys and member enterprise censuses, and combining actual industry data statistics with reasonable estimations to obtain statistical data.
2. Establish a typical enterprise information collection database. According to the requirements of data statistics, establish a typical enterprise information collection database to form a stable and coordinated source channel for statistical data.
3. Write regional industry development annual reports. Based on the statistical situation, analyze the local laundry industry and write the local "2011 Annual Industry Development Report."
4. Collect price information of the laundry industry. Investigate the local laundry industry price situation and track price fluctuations of laundry services, chemical sales, etc.
5. The benchmark date for various statistical data (except price information) is December 31, 2011. The benchmark date for price information is March 31, 2012.

3. Specific Content to be Submitted
1. Local laundry industry data statistics. Based on typical enterprise information and data obtained from industrial and commercial, statistical, and other relevant departments, fill in the local laundry industry statistical form (see Attachment 1) through reasonable statistical estimation.
The basic content of data statistics should include the number of units, number of employees, number of certified employees, annual operating income, tax amount, and main business profit, etc., accompanied by a concise statistical analysis report based on the data.
2. Typical enterprise information collection. According to the total number of local enterprises, select 0.2% of typical enterprises for information statistics (requiring proportional selection according to the number of medium, small, and micro enterprises), fill in the typical enterprise statistical form (see Attachment 2). Meanwhile, the Laundry Committee will also selectively collect information from enterprises based on the overall statistical work.
(Note: Medium-sized enterprises have more than 100 employees; small-sized enterprises have more than 10 employees; micro enterprises have fewer than 10 employees.)
3. Local laundry industry development report. Local associations shall write a local laundry industry development report based on the compiled local laundry industry statistical form. The report should include the following content:
(1) Annual development characteristics of the industry, mainly describing the scale, structure, service level, and industry management and service support characteristics.
(2) Main problems in the development of the local industry.
(3) Basic outlook for the development of the local industry.
(4) Suggestions and opinions to promote the development of the local industry.
(5) Annual major events of the local industry.
4. Laundry industry price information survey form. Fill in the laundry industry price information survey form, collecting prices for household clothing services, public textile services, and sales prices of washing chemicals and auxiliaries (see Attachment 3).
3. Data Submission Method
According to the Ministry of Commerce notice, the "Local Laundry Industry Statistical Form" and the concise statistical analysis report must be submitted to the local commerce authority, and at the same time, the typical enterprise data and price information survey form must be submitted electronically to the Laundry Committee.
