Due to many factors affecting the number of times linens are washed, such as the grade of the linens, yarn weaving, twist, breaking strength and other quality standards, wear of washing machinery, amount of washing chemicals, and other indicators, all of these affect the washing lifespan of linens. Currently, there is no national standard in China for the number of times linens can be washed. The following are some data summarized by experts in the washing industry based on experience for reference.
1. Brand new linens meeting the standards for four- and five-star hotels can be washed about 120 to 150 times under normal washing conditions.
2. Brand new towels meeting the standards for four- and five-star hotels can be washed about 100 to 150 times under normal washing conditions.
3. Brand new tablecloths (synthetic fiber) meeting the standards for four- and five-star hotels can be washed about 200 times under normal washing conditions.
