Recently, the China General Chamber of Commerce issued the "Decision on Commending the Award-Winning Contestants of the 6th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition Finals" (Document No. 1 [2010] of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce), commending the contestants who achieved excellent results in the 6th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition.
The 6th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition combined the characteristics of three occupations in the laundry and dyeing industry: laundry workers, ironers, and menders. It set up five competition events: front desk garment collection, stain removal, leather care, garment ironing, and clothing mending. Through intense competition and fair, just, and open judging, a total of 15 award-winning contestants and 113 "National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Technical Experts" were selected across the five competition events. In addition to receiving certificates, trophies, and the "China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Technical Expert" medal at the competition site, the award-winning contestants were also commended by the China General Chamber of Commerce.
The commendation document mentioned the hope that the contestants honored in this competition will take the received honors as a new starting point, study deeply, continue to improve their skill levels, and fully apply their professional skills and theoretical knowledge to make positive contributions to the overall improvement of the technical level of the laundry and dyeing industry.
