The laundry and dyeing industry must be guided by the scientific outlook on development, customer demand-oriented, service quality-centered, focusing on brand-building, convenience, and scale operation, accelerating the transformation and upgrading of the traditional laundry and dyeing industry, optimizing industry structure, improving automation and informatization levels, and comprehensively enhancing service levels and market competitiveness. The pattern of centralized washing of public textiles and some life clothing suitable for scale processing should be scientifically and reasonably established, with reasonable community laundry services for life clothing, basically improved industry standard systems, and significantly enhanced technological levels. Significant results should be achieved in energy saving and emission reduction, gradually phasing out open-type dry cleaning machines and other washing equipment and chemicals that consume high energy, have low technological content, and do not meet environmental standards.
----Scientific planning, optimize structure. Rely on the laundry and dyeing industry association to establish an information release system for the industry. Localities should scientifically formulate development plans for the laundry and dyeing industry, actively strive for local governments to include the development of the laundry and dyeing industry in the overall urban and service industry development plans, clarify development priorities, optimize network layout, and guide orderly development of the laundry and dyeing industry.
