1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, business premises, service facilities, business management and service specifications, technical guarantees, and other requirements for the opening of self-service laundromats.
This standard applies to laundromats engaged in self-service laundry business activities.

3 Terms and Definitions
3.1
Self-service laundromat / Self-service laundry
A business unit equipped with corresponding washing and drying equipment, providing consumers with self-washing or laundry services.
4 Business Premises
4.1 The business premises shall have safe building structures, sufficient lighting, floors and walls that are easy to clean, non-peeling, structurally intact, clean and tidy, with a reasonable functional layout.
4.2 The business area shall not be less than 18 square meters.
4.3 The business premises may install signage outdoors.
5 Service Facilities
5.1 Shall be equipped with commercial self-service washing and drying equipment that meets national regulations, including: at least 3 washing machines with at least one having a capacity of 10KG or more; at least 3 drying machines with at least one having a capacity of 10KG or more.
5.2 The business premises shall be equipped with basic infrastructure such as power, energy, water supply, sewage, and ventilation.
5.3 Safety, hygiene, fire protection, environmental protection, water-saving, drainage, and energy-saving facilities at the business premises shall comply with relevant national laws, regulations, and standards.
5.4 Shall be equipped with professional self-service washing, storage, safety, and pollution prevention equipment and facilities appropriate to the business scale (self-service washing/drying, etc.) and in accordance with national regulations.
6 Business Management and Service Specifications
6.1 Service business activities shall comply with the provisions of the "Laundry Industry Management Measures."
6.2 Business activities engaged in laundry operations shall comply with relevant national and local laws, regulations, and standards.
6.3 Business licenses, customer notices, service items, pricing, business hours, complaint handling units, and telephone numbers shall be prominently displayed at the business premises.
6.4 Dedicated personnel shall be assigned to ensure equipment safety, stable performance, cleanliness, and good condition, with regular cleaning and disinfection.
6.5 Chain franchise stores shall have franchise agreements.
6.6 Self-service washing operation guides and other materials shall be available within the business premises.
6.7 Provided detergents and other chemicals shall comply with relevant national standards.
6.8 A service hotline shall be clearly displayed at the business premises, and staff shall be available during business hours.
7 Technical Guarantees
7.1 Dedicated maintenance personnel shall be assigned to regularly inspect and maintain equipment.
7.2 Equipment maintenance personnel shall receive training in the use and repair of self-service washing and drying equipment, pass assessments, and hold certification to work.
