1 Scope
This standard specifies the basic requirements for service contracts and service agreements in laundry and dyeing business services.
This standard applies to laundry and dyeing business activities.

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in SB/T 10783-2012 and the following apply to this document.
3.1
Corrugation
Marks formed on the surface of clothing due to shrinkage or folding and rubbing.
3.2
Sweat stained
Marks left by sweat on clothing.
3.3
Pilling
Formation of small balls of fibers on the surface of fabric due to external forces.
3.4
Shrink
Clothing shrinks compared to the original size after washing.
3.5
Colour fading
The fabric's overall or partial color lightens due to physical or chemical effects.
3.6
Worm-hole
Holes in the fabric caused by insect damage.
3.7
Mildew spot
Localized mold deterioration on clothing caused by dampness or improper storage.
3.8
Loose thread
Yarn detaches from the fabric before or after washing.
3.9
Yarn break
Warp or weft yarns on the fabric are broken.
4 Basic Requirements
4.1 Operators shall sign a laundry service contract with consumers when accepting laundry items.
4.2 Operators shall verify the following with consumers:
— Name, style, fabric material, quantity, and value of the clothing;
— Current condition and damage (defects) of the clothing;
— Requirements for laundry service items.
4.3 Operators shall carefully inspect the condition of the clothing on site when accepting laundry items and record the inspection results on the contract, fulfilling the following responsibilities:
— Remind consumers to check for any items left in pockets and confirm completeness of clothing accessories and ornaments;
— Remind consumers of fragile, easily corroded, and valuable ornaments or accessories, clarifying service responsibilities;
— Identify the age, cleanliness, damage level, fabric texture, color patterns, insect damage, and other defects of the clothing;
— Inform consumers in advance about foreseeable and unforeseeable performance changes after laundry service; for stains difficult to remove, inform consumers, confirm laundry effect, and note it.
— Remind consumers that clothing worn and washed cannot be fully restored to factory condition.
4.4 Operators shall obtain consumers' prior consent for the laundry service methods used and note it on the contract.
4.5 Operators shall accurately calculate and inform consumers of the laundry service fees charged according to regulations and the payment methods.
4.6 Operators shall specify the dates for receiving and picking up laundry items.
4.7 Laundry service contracts shall take effect from the date both operator and consumer sign or stamp, and both parties shall keep contact information such as phone numbers and addresses.
5 Service Agreements
5.1 Operators shall record the on-site inspection conclusions of laundry items on the contract when accepting laundry.
5.2 Services provided by operators shall meet the requirements of SB/T 10625 or the agreements made with consumers in the contract.
5.3 For high-value clothing, value-preserving cleaning may be implemented according to consumer wishes, with written cleaning agreements negotiated between operator and consumer specifying cleaning fees, value preservation amount, and service content.
5.4 Consumers shall carefully inspect clothing upon pickup and raise quality issues on site, confirming with the operator promptly. Disputes involving clothing damage, operator fraud, etc., shall be handled according to relevant provisions of the "Laundry and Dyeing Industry Management Measures."
5.5 Consumers shall present laundry pickup vouchers to retrieve clothing; if lost, valid personal identification must be presented to report loss and complete pickup procedures.
5.6 In case of laundry service disputes, operators shall actively negotiate with consumers for resolution, may apply for mediation from consumer associations or laundry industry associations, or file complaints with relevant authorities or lawsuits in people's courts.
5.7 Enterprises or local relevant departments shall formulate laundry service contracts based on this standard combined with actual conditions of enterprises or local departments.
