Shanghai Laundry and Dyeing Industry Garment Quality Standards
I. Washing Quality Requirements:
Various types of tops and pants must meet the following requirements after washing or dry cleaning:
(1) Washing Quality Requirements for Tops:

I. Washing Quality Requirements:
Various types of tops and pants must meet the following requirements after washing or dry cleaning:
(1) Washing Quality Requirements for Tops:
1. The entire fabric, collar, front placket, hem binding, and sleeves must be clean.
The garment color is bright. No color bleeding, no damage.
3. The entire lining is clean. The label is clean.
4. The pockets are clean. No dust or debris inside the pockets.
5. Dry-cleaned garments do not fade, deform, or damage buttons and other decorations.
(2) Washing Quality Requirements for Pants:
1. The entire fabric of the pants is clean, with no color bleeding or damage.
2. The waistband, crotch, and hem bindings are clean.
3. The left and right front pockets and back pockets are clean, with no debris inside.
4. Dry-cleaned pants do not deform or fade.
(3) Cleaning Requirements for Leather and Fur Garments:
1. Leather garments are thoroughly cleaned, do not deform, have soft leather panels, no damage, and even color.
2. Fur garments are clean, soft, elastic, and the leather panels are undamaged.
II. Quality Requirements for Ironing Clothes and Pants
(1) Ironing Quality Requirements for Clothes:
1. The entire fabric and lining are crisp and smooth, with no scorch marks or shine.
2. The collar is flat and stiff, meeting original style requirements, with equal collar points on both sides. The collar edge is flat with no visible seams.
3. The front placket is flat and crisp, with equal corners.
4. Waist seams are separated. The hem binding is flat and neat.
5. The left and right shoulder blades are rounded. Shoulder seams are separated, and the shoulder lining is smooth.
6. The front sleeve seams are separated. The back seams are straight, and the sleeve lining is smooth.
7. Pocket openings are flat. No pocket flap marks, no button marks on the lining.
(2) Ironing Quality Requirements for Pants:
1. The pants body is crisp and smooth, with no scorch marks or shine.
2. The four creases on the front and back of the pants are straight and smooth, fitting well.
3. The inside and outside seams of the pant legs are straight. The fly and fly guard are flat and crisp.
4. The front and back seams of the hip circumference are separated and pressed flat. The crotch is smooth.
5. The waistband and waistband lining are smooth, with straight and equal pleats on the left and right sides.
6. The pockets are ironed flat, with tight stitching on the left, right, back, and outer pockets, with no lining exposed.
III. Dyeing Quality Requirements:
(1) Dyeing Quality Requirements for Garments:
1. The color of dyed garments is accurate and meets the consumer's prior requirements.
2. The dyeing is even, with no blotches or color stains.
3. The garment is flat, not deformed, and free of damage.
4. The color fastness is strong, with no color bleeding.
(2) Polishing Quality Requirements for Leather Garments:
1. Remove stains from garments before polishing.
2. Match colors accurately according to the original garment.
5. The polishing and starch coating are applied evenly, with consistent color on all parts.
4. No missed spots on seams and bindings.
5. No color running, no starch cracking, no overlapping leather, no color stains on the lining.
6. Strong color fastness.
IV. Textile Mending Quality Standards:
The warp and weft threads are clearly separated. The inserted threads match the color accurately.
The picked threads are clear and complete. The thread tension is appropriate.
The overlapping ends are clear. The joints are tightly connected.
The pattern is correct. No missing warp or weft threads.
The lines are clear and straight. The texture is full and complete.
Ironing does not show shine. The mending is firm and smooth.
