1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for the appearance, hand feel, odor, and accessories of leather garment conditioning in laundry and dyeing shops engaged in leather garment conditioning in our province.
This standard applies to officially opened laundry and dyeing shops in this province.
2 Referenced Standards
The provisions contained in the following standards are incorporated into this standard by reference. The versions shown are valid at the time of publication of this standard. All standards are subject to revision, and users of this standard should consider using the latest versions of the following standards.

3 Definitions
The following definitions are used in this standard.
3.1 Leather Garment
Garments made of leather fabric.
3.2 Leather Garment Conditioning
Cleaning, softening, coloring, polishing, and other treatment measures for leather garments.
3.3 Professional Leather Garment Conditioning
Leather garment conditioning performed by professionals using specialized equipment, methods, and chemical raw materials permitted by the state.
3.4 General Leather Garment Conditioning
Leather garment conditioning performed by trained personnel using traditional methods and chemical raw materials permitted by the state.
3.5 Appearance
The surface condition of leather garments.
3.6 Hand Feel
The tactile sensation caused by touching, pressing, or rubbing the leather with the hand.
3.7 Accessories
Materials constituting the leather garment other than the fabric.
3.8 Color Difference
Differences in chromaticity in various parts of garment leather and suede leather.
3.9 Color Spots
Obvious differences in color depth on the same piece of leather surface.
3.10 Color Fastness
The ability of leather color to withstand various effects during processing and use, expressed by the degree of discoloration and staining on lining materials.
The rating grade represents this.
3.11 Staining
Dye from the solution absorbed onto the garment or dye transferred from the sample to the lining fabric.
3.12 Discoloration
Single or combined changes in brightness, chroma, or hue of leather color.
4 Quality of Professional Leather Garment Conditioning
4.1 Appearance Requirements
4.1.1 Color Fastness
a. The discoloration of conditioned leather garments compared to the original delivered by the customer shall not be less than grade 4 (except for special customer requirements). The color difference between parts shall not be less than grade 4.
b. The staining color fastness to rubbing (dry, wet) shall not be less than grade 4, and the fading color fastness to rubbing (dry, wet) shall not be less than grade 4.
4.1.2 Defects
a. The coating layer of glossy leather shall be firm and uniform; no cracking, peeling, brush marks, color spots, stains, new cracks, exposed base, broken threads, or similar phenomena are allowed in any part.
b. The suede leather surface shall be uniform and delicate; no obvious residual or new pressure marks, severe oil spots, fish spots, exposed base, or other phenomena affecting appearance are allowed.
4.1.3 Gloss
The gloss shall be natural and soft.
4.2 Hand Feel Requirements
4.2.1 Elasticity
The hand feel of all parts shall be full, soft, and elastic.
4.2.2 Smoothness and Stickiness
The hand feel of all parts shall be smooth and free of stickiness.
4.3 Odor Requirements
Fresh fragrance, no musty smell.
4.4 Accessories Requirements

4.4辅料要求
4.4.1 The lining is free of damage, no color transfer, and no stains on any parts.
4.4.2 Buttons and decorative pieces must not be missing, and there must be no new scratches.
5 Leather Garment General Conditioning Quality
5.1 Appearance Requirements
5.1.1 Color Fastness
a. The color change of conditioned leather garments compared to the original delivery to the customer shall not be less than grade 3 (except for special customer requirements). Each part
shall have a color difference not less than grade 3.
b. The rubbing (dry, wet) color fastness for staining shall not be less than grade 3, and the rubbing (dry, wet) color fastness for fading shall not be less than grade 3.
5.1.2 Defects
a. The coating layer of smooth leather shall be firm and uniform; no cracking, peeling, brush marks, color spots, stains, new cracks, exposed base, broken threads, or similar phenomena shall appear on any part.
b. The nap of suede leather shall be uniform and fine; no obvious residual or new pressure marks, severe cloudiness, color spots, exposed base, or other phenomena affecting appearance shall appear on any part.
5.1.3 Gloss
The gloss of all parts shall be natural and soft.

6 Part Division (see Figure 1)
6.1 Part 1: includes collar surface, lapel surface, sleeve surface (large sleeve), front body, and back body.
6.2 Part 2: includes 8cm before and after the hem seam (with the hem seam as the centerline), lower half of the bottom sleeve (small sleeve), edging or overlay (hanging surface).
6.3 Part 3: includes collar lining, lapel lining, upper half of the sleeve (small sleeve), and other concealed parts.
